  We had a brilliant stay in this hotel

  We had a brilliant week in this hotel. Our advice would be to go for full board as the quality of the food, setting and service, especially in the Valentino’s restaurant is exceptional. We also definitely recommend that you go for a room that faces the pool. The bedrooms and balconies are big and cleaned thoroughly every day. It’s great to have a proper capsule coffee machine, bathrobes, slippers, and regularly stocked mini bar. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed our swims. The clientele the hotel caters for is largely composed of retired people, although many are up for dancing during the evening shows. There is a great poolside snack bar which serves excellent burgers, chicken, and hot sandwiches. Just outsidethe hotel is an oval shaped lake with lots of small yachts, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We felt the food in the hotel, certainly in Valentinos was better than anything saw there. We went on this holiday to read, get some swimming in, and indulge in outstanding food and wine without having to pay for anything since it had all been covered by the all-inclusive price, although we made sure to tip the cleaners and restaurant staff. Our only regret is the weight we put on when we got back. This hotel has got everything right!

  For various reasons including thassle at airports we decide to holiday in the UK. As autumn approached we decided to come here as well and we were not disappointed. Our fifth holiday here we noticed one or two changes including the access to the comfy chairs on the balcony. Thanks for listening. We think what makes this hotel stand out has to be the staff. It's unfair to single anyone out but Lydia is a star and Gabi and the rest of the crew brought sunshine into the buffet . I still maintain that far from being dated the rooms and the whole of the hotel is really classy and I would shed a tear if was modernised to look like a Travelodge. The food, as always, was perfect and if anything, there was too much choice and I had to scale back later in the week. I am in full support of the long trousers and think that once that goes it's a slippery slope to scruffiness The games were so much fun and one of the really nice things is that everyone is included no matter how rubbish we were. Another outstanding feature is that absolutely everything works - not a single bulb out thnks to the maintenance team. The room were cleaned daily to a high standard. I have seen some comments about the reception staff being unfriendly. Not my experience. All in all, another great holiday. It isn't a criticism but if there is one thing that I would change is serving wine by the glass even if it was just a house red, white and rose. I heard so many people ask and ended up asking for water.   Fabulous hotel.

  This was my second stay at the Valentin Star , the first time with my sister and this time with my husband both holidays have been fabulous , from first stepping into reception to leaving to come home everything was first class. Food was lovely especially in Valantino,s for lunch and dinner ,we were all inclusive and worth every penny extra. Entertainment was great ,loved Michael Jackson night and met some new dancing partners ( great laugh ) thank you everyone for a brilliant time .   What can we say … this is an excellent hotel! We lived everything here, great friendly staff everyone had a smile and a greeting for us. Reception went out if there way to show us other rooms ( we just wanted to compare the junior suites to the doubles) and they also found out about market days for us. Our room was a junior suite overlooking the pool excellent comfy room plenty of space and a great shower. Bars & restaurants - we were all inclusive there was an excellent choice of drinks /cocktails etc. You can order food from the pool bar and eat upstairs in the main bar. All delicious lunches! Valentino’s we ate in here mist evenings as it was quiet and a lovely relaxing restaurant again fab food and staff! The buffet restaurant had great choices for breakfast and dinner and a nice view over the harbour. The veal was particularly delicious. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean our room kept spotless. We are returning next year as it was so good. Special thanks go to Maria / Oscar/ Carolina and Luz who all looked after us with friendliness / care and laughter. Thanks to every member of staff that said good morning / evening etc, we travel alot and have found this is a rare thing these days but Hotel Valentin obviously pride themselves on happy staff and proper niceness!! We look forward to our return. Tip - Try the cheese and ham toastie for breakfast it’s absolutely delicious!
