  Amazing family holiday

  We booked a package holiday with Jet2, arrived on Friday for 7 nights, our transfer was quicker than we thought and we arrived at the hotel around 1:30 but our bungalow wasn't ready, we were offered a drink, storage for our bags and the use of the toilet/shower, we were placed in Bungalow 10, which was beautiful, they all are, clean, daily housekeeping, there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, single hob, fridge freezer, the pool could be doing with a few more sunbeds but we never had any issue getting one and you can actually use your patio too as it is so close, there was a generator at the side of our bungalow that I raised with the hotel via watsapp and was moved bungalow almost immediately to Bungalow 18, we arrived to a bottle of wine, and a platter of pastries and fruit. You are just steps away from the marina, with plenty eateries and a few shops, pharmacy, supermarket etc but this isn't overly loud to disturb you, as soon as you are in your bungalow it is quiet, there is no noise from outside or other bungalows, and you get a little music if your sitting outside in the evening. We feel it is expensive stay but worth it for a main family summer holiday. Absolutely loved the whole trip, and looking to book for next summer.   Our visit this time was unfortunately not as good as our previous stay.Check-in was disappointing. We had already checked in online to make the process quicker, as we were arriving late with two children. We asked if we could have a glass of water as we were all very thirsty and the shops were closed at 11:30pm. We were told there was water in the bungalow. However, when we arrived, there was no water there.This was particularly noticeable as, on our previous visit, we were greeted with a glass of cava and the children were given fruit juice. The difference in the welcome was immediately noticeable and, unfortunately, it felt like standards had slipped.The main issue during our stay was the lack of sunbeds around the pool. On one day, there were no sunbeds available and we had to sit on a towel on the concrete while the children were in the pool, as we had no other option. It seems you need to get up very early to reserve a sunbed. This was particularly disappointing because we visited at exactly the same time in early August previously and there were always plenty of sunbeds available.There were, however, some positives. The bungalow was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was good. The location is also excellent, right beside the marina.Sadly, based on this visit, we probably would not return. It is disappointing as we really enjoyed our previous stay, but the overall standard and experience this time did not live up to our expectations. Had we been made aware that there was no water in the bungalow, our team would have been more than happy to bring it to you immediately.We are also sorry to hear about your experience at the pool. We fully understand how inconvenient it must have been, particularly when travelling with children, not to find available sunbeds. Again, we wish this had been brought to our attention at the time. Our team is always available to assist guests and would have done everything possible to find an alternative solution rather than have you sit on the ground while your children enjoyed the pool.One of the reasons we encourage our guests to contact us whenever something is not as expected is precisely because many situations can be resolved immediately. It is therefore particularly disappointing to learn about these concerns after your departure, when unfortunately we no longer have the opportunity to intervene and improve your experience.We nevertheless appreciate your positive comments regarding the cleanliness of the bungalow, the comfort of the beds, the air conditioning and our location by the marina.Having welcomed you before and knowing that you previously enjoyed your stay with us, we are especially sorry that you are considering not returning.   Overall the apartment was nice. Comfortable beds. Clean. Air conditioned. Well stocked and replenished with water and toilet roll. The kitchen is poorly stocked if you want any type of self catering element- we had no breakfast bowls for example. Pool is very nice and clean - not heated, so great in Aug when it was boiling, but would be uncomfortable in a cooler month. You’re situated on top of restaurants and one side faces the marina which is beautiful. You’ll hear noise all day from the hotel across the way as they play music, but it’s not intrusive. You’ll also hear the restaurants moving all their chairs at about midnight, but again not really bothersome. Our villa (villa 4), does have a road next to it which has loading bays. Often groups of men are stood, and this could do with some screening. Restaurants, beach.supermarkets all very close. Easy getting a bus into cituadella in the evening, water park also a few minutes walk. The resort is quiet, not too much to actually do - lovely restaurants, but a lack of Spanish restaurants! Jet 2 themselves are useless, no information about check in, you get dumped near the villas, but it’s not where you check in - they need to drop you at the hotel which is the check in. Similarly no information is provided about check out beyond a pick up time.   Lovin' Lago Resort - I will be back! ??

  It was our first time to Cala n Bosch and I stayed in one of the bungalows with my 3 adult daughters. Check in was at the hotel. We received a warm friendly welcome and a glass of fizz, and a wristband for access to your accommodation and the pool area.The bungalow was really nice, clean with comfortable beds and nice shower. There was an outside patio with a sofa and a patio table. There was a communal pool for the bungalow complex, which was nice to cool down.We ate out every evening at the various restaurants around the harbour, which were all lovely, and had a wonderful breakfast at one of the Lago Resort restaurants. I would definitely return with my husband, and either stay at the Adult only hotel or one of the villas with its own pool.
