Beautiful but a little high up.

We stayed at Villa Finesse at the beginning of October. We arrived at the reception at just before midday. Check-in is normally 3pm but as we'd requested, they let us enter. The villa is around a 15 minute walk from reception up various extremely steep hills. The receptionist for that day was a young man called David who gave us a lift up to our villa via the supermarket to collect essentials such as water, milk, Sangria and wine! ?? we arrived at the villa to find a beautiful villa with 3 bedrooms all with their own bathroom/shower room. It was very clean and cool if a little dark inside. We went to look at the beautiful back yard with a sizeable pool. There was a few issues with the patio door being broken, but it was fixed within the hour. It was in a gated community and was very quiet. If you are staying there I'd recommend getting an Automatic Car as you'll definitely need one! We made the mistake of not hiring one so relied on taxis which added additioal cost to your expenses. For the villa itself the air-conditioning worked well and the showers were powerful and a good heat. The dishwasher and washing machine was in good condition. If we had any issues we would WhatsApp reception who would answer quickly enough. There's local Supermarkets but they do charge a lot more than normal. It's a beautiful area.

PositivesThe villa was spacious and had 3 beautiful sized bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and a four poster bed. The pool was massive, and really deep. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Our neighbours in the nearby villas were all Spanish and were very quiet and respectful. We found Son Bou to have the longest, most beautiful beach of the island. (Further down the beach near the sand dunes was the quietest spot).NegativesSadly the villas are opposite hotel Valentin, which had loud performances and music every night 8pm-11pm. It ruined the quiet feel to the area.The villas needed a few updates- broken toilet lids, missing tiles in the swimming pool, rusty radiators.

Perfect villa!

We loved our stay here, and anywhere that is looked after by Menorca Rentals is our go to place! Great villa, huge pool. Clean and tidy and well located. The hill didn’t bother us, we had a car but also walked down to the resort and back each night. It is at the top of Torre Soli Nou by the Valentin hotel but there are stairs or the hill as a walking option. Great facilities, fantastic experience with Menorca rentals and will probably stay again :)

We have recently arrived home after a last minute 4 night stay. When booking our holiday I struggled to find many reviews hence me leaving this one!We sorted our own taxi transfer and upon arriving at the Villla, the taxi kindly offered us a lift back down the hill to ‘Menorca Rentals’ to collect the key! I just assumed the key collection point would be closer than it was.The villa was perfect for us - it’s the first time we’ve stayed in a villa and we loved it! It did feel a little remote and if I was staying longer we’d of ‘definitely’ hired a car.It is a good walk down the big hill to get to the resort however we managed it every morning for a trip to the bakery and again in the evenings for our meal out.The pool was bigger than I expected, and the villa was kitted out better than I expected it to be.Local supermarkets were expensive, I’ve read that people do online food shops which I believe are much cheaper.
