  Great holiday stay

  26 Sept 2026

After reading reviews in various sites I have to say I was slightly apprehensive about staying here.. and initially I thought that my fears had materialised. We arrived at 2.45pm on Sunday afternoon, there are no signs for a reception, luckily a group by the pool showed us the way. It was locked even though it said it should be open till 3pm. (This person said I should have received an email with our Villa number & key safe code- not received anything, they hadn’t either, both parties travelled with jet2) I rang the number on the door and got through to a great lady at the partner company Son Parc. She chased up Yucas staff who arrived 20 minutes later. Very quick process, was advised that we would get a link to register all residents. Once in the Villa, I was surprised to see it was very modern, extremely spacious and clean. It gets very warm upstairs and only air con in the main bedroom, there are large ceiling fans in the other rooms but don’t cool them down significantly. The kitchens have enough items to make a light meal but nothing more than that. But that was fine by us. The pool area was okay, sunbeds are dated. Garden areas could do with a tidy up. Most of the times we used this area it was like having a private pool as no one else around. There was one afternoon where a group of teenage girls arrived from the beach, they were approached by staff and advised to move on.. I am guessing that this may be something new as the girls seemed to be puzzled by the fact they couldn’t use the pool. There is direct access from a little cove to the villas, no gates or secure access to stop people passing through the site. That was the only member of staff we saw apart from cleaners & handy man. We enjoyed the quietness and feeling of having our own place. I would just say the hotel group needs to look at signage, ensure that emails regarding access have been received.

Villa Yuck - Holiday from hell!!!

  07 Aug 2023

Worst holiday ever, plese avoid at all costs!! Swimming pool filthiest I've ever seen, apartment falling apart, mini golf non exsistant 40 years old no clubs or balls available. Adventure playground a joke, missing swing the other broken, very old slide looked dangerous, Tui rep advised no one has visited site in a long, long time to check standards and agreed was dated and dangerous. No lock on gate, access to outsiders, broken into and used swimming pool between midnight and 4am!! swearing and shouting, reported to receptionist the next morning- didn't want to know told us to contact the police direct. No snack shack, table tennis table broken, very small cove near, 4 families filled it up, we were at number 4 which was on a noisy main road. Disgusting place, dirty and dated. No rail in wardrobe to hang clothes, 3 mugs for 6 people, bird poo all over outside chairs and patio, broken chairs x 2 on dining room with nails sticking out. Air con not working. Shower hose broken. I could go on and on....

Great time overall with excellent accommodation

  18 Apr 2022

Villas Yucas is very peaceful and a relaxing complex. It has a nice chilled atmosphere. The pool and surrounding grounds are well maintained and clean, with plenty of sun lounges around the pool. The Villa we had (number 8), was clean and tidy ready for our holiday, supplied with fresh bedding and towels. We did requested a few extra blankets as the weather wasn’t great and the owner had extra clean blankets when requested. The villas had all the basic necessities required for our holiday. Each Villa has its own outdoor seating area, with its own table and chairs. The location of Villas Lucas is excellent. Opposite the site is a supermarket and further along the road is all the bars/restaurants/shops. The main bus route is also on the same road, which is great if you want to access Ciutadella de Menorca. We would like to thank Juan for making our stay perfect. He was quick with responding to messages and he stayed in contact throughout our stay, to ensure we had everything and we’re happy. He was able to suggest great restaurants and supported us with getting a taxi. We requested a at last minute a late checkout, possible for a small fee. Juan couldn’t have been anymore helpful. We will definitely be returning to Villas Yucas. Many thanks again.- A few suggestions to put forward if there was things to improve the Villas, are the installation of a heating/ventilation/air-conditioning system and newer plug sockets.

  Would not bother

  28 Jul 2021

First of all when we arrived there is no signage for the ‘villas’ and did not have a clue where to go to check in. After wandering around for an hour trying to find a reception or member of staff, we couldn’t. We kept ringing the number on our booking information but no answer. Finally a man called Bruno answered the phone and told us we could not check in until 3.30pm, were he told us which villa we would be staying in and the key was already inside. We had still not met a member of staff or received any information about the villas/ local area. When arriving at the villa it was very outdated although fairly clean. The landing and kitchen lights did not work and the majority of the glass/table wear was not clean at all and had dust on them. Most of the light switches in the bedrooms had cracked and the shower head did not stay in the holder. We did have a lovely view out of the balcony of 15+ old dirty mattresses though. After 3 days we were getting a little confused about getting clean sheets and towels as no one had come to change them. We attempted to ring Bruno but no answer. We texted him and he said it would be arranged, as well as a further towel and bedding change 3 days later. 2 days had gone by since the original request and FINALLY some clean bedding and towels, but this was the only fresh bedding and towels we received our whole 11 night stay. In the villa next door was a group of young lads staying who very much enjoyed staying up until 5 am singing loudly outside, keeping everyone awake all night. It was unavoidable listening to their continuous attempts of rapping as there are no fans or air con in the bedrooms so you have to keep your window open. We didn’t even bother to complain to Bruno via text and instead told them to be quiet ourselves. At one point coming up to the end of our stay, we noticed the downstairs toilet had started bubbling and toilet water was all over the floor, we texted Bruno and a day later the plumber arrived alone at the villa and only spoke Spanish. Trying to explain what happened was a nightmare, he said the water was from the beach (it was not) so did nothing about the issue. Luckily my partner managed to switch off the water supply to the toilet. At the end of our stay we got a text telling us what time check out was, we never met Bruno or saw any staff at villas Yucas, everything was done through text.

  Family holiday

  26 Jul 2019

We were a little apprehensive prior to going to villas las yucas as some of the previous reviews didn’t paint the villas In a good picture.Prior to arrival I had taken a phone call from Bruno from the villas management asking if we were ok and was we on route he also informed us on where to meet him and collect the keys etc etc. This was a pretty good start and Bruno was very informative. We have stayed in the cala blanes area previously on a few occasions and all my family love the area for its surrounding family atmosphere and fantastic local beaches. On arrival at the villa everything was great all clean and tidy ready for our holiday. The villas are a little old but very quirky with the colour schemes within the living room and bedrooms etc.Within the villa the kitchen was adequately supplied with all the items needed to produce a meal if need be and is plentiful for breakfast and lunches etc. There was plenty of bed linens and towels etc of which got changed in The the middle part of our stay. The villas are a very peaceful and relaxing place With a low key chilled atmosphere. The surrounding gardens and pool are all well maintained and look fantastic the pool is a little on the small side but is adequate for myself and my family. The only things that would maybe help make the villas a little better maybe would be a little more maid service etc for a little house cleaning etc. Also more ceiling fans to the other bedroom areas as only the en-suite has a ceiling fan along with living room. All in all the villas are a fantastic choice for families on a budget and are excellent value for money they maybe a little rustic but they were absolutely bang on for us as my family loved there stay. A special thanks to Bruno as he was excellent throughout our stay very informative and helpful.Well done villas yucas we will return very soon.Best regards the king family.
