  Comfortable Hotel with friendly staff

  We recently spent two nights on a stopover trip to Andalucia. We were looking forward to recovering from a long drive by cooling off in the pool or chilling in the SPA. Although the temperatures were in the mid 30s the pool closed the day after our arrival for the season and the indoor pool and SPA was closed both days, as it is closed Sunday and Monday. We had booked the hotel for the proximity to the town and the pool and so were very disappointed that we had not been made aware either on the web site or when we phoned to book. I would have expected that the pool would have been open in September.The room was great, but the hotel was a little tired and could do with someTLC. The food and breakfast were very good and well priced for a four star hotel.

  some double rooms can feel quiet tight

  Generally speaking the hotel is good, some rooms are larger than others (for instance, one of our colleagues had a double room with very limited space around the bed). Beds were comfy, they had a varied range of pillows to choose from (soft, semi-firm, firm...) You will get a nice sleep in this hotel! They have free, easy parking as well as wifi. We did not try the breakfast but tried the restaurant, which has bright lights around it (not great to create an atmosphere) and left us a bit disappointed. The staff member that dealt with us was very unpleasant (apparently, he is always like that, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt) and the food was appalling. We ordered pizza, they didn't have any vegetarian ones and the one with tuna was one that had just been put in the microwave. It looked like dog food and it didn't feel nice at all. If you order salad and a portion of chips they charge you a whopping 15 euros, which felt unfair. The hotel has potential but certain areas will need to be reviewed.

  Excellent in every way

  Good location only a few minutes walk from town centre with free car parking next to hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable and equipped with mini fridge. Bathroom had good shower with lots of hot water. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent dinner here which was very tasty and excellent value at only €15 for 3 courses with bread and a drink.

  Friendly reception, convenient parking and excellent selection of free amenities in the bathroom. The neighbourhood is quiet, beautiful and yet close to the centre of the city. I would definitely stay here again.
