  Great hotel - highly recommend

  We stayed in this hotel on the first night of our tour of the Pyrenees. The room was lovely, as were the staff. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we did have a drink in the adjacent bar, which was great. Parking was plentiful and our breakfast overlooking the golf course was a great start to the day. We would recommend this hotel.

  I last visited this hotel in June 2018 and headed my review 'Excellent hotel with exceptional staff '.Whilst the accommodation remains high quality the Veranda Restaurant has suffered a dramatic drop in quality.Little touches have disappeared and friendly cheerful staff have been replaced with surly indifferent individuals.Call me old fashioned but I would expect to be shown to my table in a four star hotel not given a vague wave in the direction of the restaurant by the Maitre D and told to sit where you want.Food was at best average.Very disappointing after a fantastic first visit.

  The place looks great on pictures but we were very disappointed. My parents had reserved a junior suite (70m2) for 5 nights and my plan was to spend one night with them. We thought that we could ask for an extra bed for one night given the size of the suite. The persona in charge told us that the hotel did not provide any extra beds. We discussed for an hour about this and there was no way to reason with him. Finally we had to take another room for myself which I found totally ridiculous as it was not the plan. The following morning I find the cleaning lady who was taking an extra bed out of the room next door. I felt like a total fool…….what a rip off…..The welcome is not great either, I arrived with my parents who are almost 80 years old and had 4 pieces of luggage…no one looked at us from the front desk as we struggled to put the luggage in the cart….To be fair the room in itself is very nice and spacious and the property is also beautiful. It is very comfortable overall. But we would never go back to it given the bad experience we had.

  Excellent hotel, very good staff, our favourite stay on our 2 week visit to northern Spain.Room was faultless. Laundry service excellent. Bar staff made the best G&T of our trip.Highly recommended for a stay. Good spa. 10 minute taxi-ride to old town area.Car parking excellent. WiFi the best on our stay.

  First night of an 8 night trip around the region & a good start. The hotel is a new (ish) build slightly below the castle. The rooms are very nice and ours had a balcony with a good view. The castle seems to be used for wedding/conferences and the like. The hotel restaurant is good though we felt a little pricey. Good outside parking and in a very nice area.
