A sweet spot for literary lovers

    rating22 Sept 2026

My room was next to Ernest Hemingway’s room on the second floor and our balconies face the street where they hold the running of the bulls, to say that there’s certain nostalgia to it is an understatement. The staff were amazing! Location was wonderful. Breakfast was abundant. Gonzalo Moreno, Atención al cliente/recepción at Gran Hotel La Perla, responded to this review Dear Ivy W; we would like to thank you for your insight into what we do and who we are.Our library contains over 300 books signed by their authors who have stayed at the hotel, as well as rooms dedicated to writers.Thank you for staying with us, for taking the time to give us your feedback, and for doing so in the way you have – through your notes and kind comments, in which you highlight our wonderful location, our incredible staff and our generous breakfast.Thank you very much indeed!Best regards from La Perla
