  Good hotel near Ourense

  This hotel is some kms away from Ourense, so, a good location to stay if you have a car and want to stay in a more affordable hotel, outside the city. The room was great, spacious with a giant comfortable bed. The renovation done in the bathroom was quite nice too. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, however, the access is done externally, via the parking space, which can be a bit inconvenient. The restaurant serves good burgers and fries.

  The hotel was perfect for us as we were travelling around Northern Spain in our campervan and parking in Ourense isn't easy to find in the city and several hotels the parking was not on site and reviews said parking was tight for a car so we would have struggled with our van. The Exe parking was great with plenty of space, there was a lovely outdoor pool area (although we didn't use it as only there for 24 hours). It was easy to get into town from a bus stop a 3 minute walk away opposite the Meson bar/cafe at the junction on the road to the hotel and was 85c each adult each way. The hotel itself is a little dated and basic, not the 5* it says it is but was clean and the beds were comfy and the room had a tv and fridge plus a hairdryer and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. The staff were welcoming on arrival. Do not be put off by the location as the bus was easy and cheap and the hotel is not fancy in any way but if you are there to sightsee in Ourense and the room is for showering and sleeping in don't hesitate to book.

  Great hotel and great price value

  I visited Ourense with my family for a competition, and we spent the night at this hotel before the race day. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and they accommodated all of our needs, since we wanted a bedroom for 3 people. The room was nice and clean, and the location makes it perfect for a quiet and relaxing trip.

  Good food. Nice diner. Axel the chef is a great cook We had a very good dinner the salmon was delicious Rooms are clean Breakfast good Friendly reception will come back We were very happy to stay here and it a pity we stayed only one night. Thanks a lot

  Nice hotel located in the top of a mountain, close to an industrial zone. Very practical for business around.Beware that the breakfast is good but with very low variety along days.Its location is only convenient if you have a car.Nice people and service, but a bit worn furniture. 60's architectural design.Free parking s a plus
