  A convenient short walk away from downtown.Upon my request, an electric kettle was provided in the room. Friendly check in, decent modern room. The parking is done by elevator, only after reporting to the reception--> every parking spot is assigned by the reception.

  Freezing cold can't control

  This hotel has easy access to and from the the train and bus station. The room was freezing. I was not able to control the temperature in the room. I went to have a tea and it was freezing in the bar area as well. If you are always running cold I don't recommend staying here because you will freeze.

  This place is an absolute joke. Apart from sleeping in a very minute room. It is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No services whatsoever. The only thing I can thik of is that they cater primarily for Reps and then just rip everyone else off. I know its difficult to get meals etc in some Spanish hotels on a Sunday, but three consecutive days is ridiculous.Must now consider whether Eurostars are worth trusting in the future.The lack of facilities should be clealy advertised. The parking is difficult and involves a lift. Ha ha.

  stayed for 1 night at the Diana Palace with 4 friends, all on motorbikes. An easy check in, and then we were off to the car park. The lift can accommodate 1 car, or 4 bikes with luggage, there are dedicated spaces for motorbikes, and we didn't really fit, but there were no complaints - this must be one of the safest places we've parked - though it takes a little which for the lift to arrive and go.Room was really modern, and very clean.The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of the main square, so easy to find somewhere to eat and drink.Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good, with a range of options, including hot food.

  Very Helpful Personnel - Good Location - Large and Modern Rooms - Excellent Value

  A few weeks ago, my wife and I spent three nights at this hotel. Everything was close to perfection. The personnel tried to meet all our requests and please us at every step. The room was relatively large, modernly furnished and clean. Even though our room faced the street, we could not detect any noise.The breakfast buffet was full of excellent choices and healthy items, both cold and hot. As far as the location, we must say that it is very good, just outside the historic center of Palencia, and within easy walking to most places of interest. However, in order to reach the hotel, coming from the city center or from the train station, you must walk through an underground pass and climb some stairs. Though unusual, this was not a real problem for us. The personnel was kind enough to give us an extra hour at check-out time in order to make our departure by train more convenient to us. We did not use the food services the hotel offers, but we enjoyed had nice tea evenings by the reception and bar areas.In summary, we will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palencia. It represents good value at a true four stars category.
