    Great location in the main part of the city.a very pleasant surprise.The staff were so hospitable and lovely.The room was very nice, with a street view.The bathrooms were the nicest cleanest bathrooms of all the hotels we have stayed at ! All white and clean, no mould or discolouring.There were lovely bathrobes and slippers , and a very comfy bed.Very quiet.Only suggestion is that the breakfast could have been a bit better. Was a bit sparce.Other than that, one teeny thing, I highly recommend.

    Wasn’t anything special at all. Room was super hot and when asked, they said there wasn’t anything they could do but open the window. Then you heard jackhammers all day long. Lobby has old dirty sofas. The staff were nice but I would look elsewhere. The ratings are way too high for what this hotel offered.

    We enjoyed two nights at Agua de Mar following a very disappointing stay at an Airbnb in Vigo. The staff at the hotel were able to accommodate us at short notice which was wonderful. Adriana at reception was so helpful with suggestions for local eateries and we found all the staff to be very friendly. Our king room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a restful couple of nights before our onward journey. Thank you Agua de Mar!     Simple basic, pre-fab type hotel

    Our room on the first floor (2nd floor in US) was not big but adequate. Since it faced the street, we expected to hear a lot of road noise at night ,but it was relatively quiet. The WiFi in our room was not consistent. We arrived at 1:20 pm and were told check in time was 3 pm and our room would not be ready until 3 pm. Others guests were told the same. Miraculously, all the rooms became available exactly at 3 pm. She was not the friendliest person, but the two people after her were much more friendly. This property reminded me of the Moxie brand hotels you find at European airports- simple, basic but functional.     Loved our one night here with superb room ,great breakfast and the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff ,also we passed a lovely afternoon on the sun terrace and made good use of the jacuzzi. i feel a bit mean giving 4 stars but i just thought it was a little expensive. would definitely stay here again but book a bit more in advance to get a better deal.
