We booked this hotel as we were walking the Camino Invierno. We knew that we could have difficulty finding bars, restaurants and cafes open as it was a Sunday. This hotel said it has a bar and restaurant, so met our needs. WRONG! The receptionist said the bar and restaurant were not open to guests at weekends - only to the bus loads of tourists they had staying. In addition the air conditioning was on winter mode until June, so we were baked in bed .The breakfast was poor.Terrible place.

Friendly stuff! The spa area is kind of small but I did enjoy it. The food is a bit overpriced for a 4 stars spanish hotel. The rooms are indeed luxurious and clean. The location of the hotel is not that great if you are a city person but you have some good views and a waterfall nearby. hotelviaargentum, Director General at Exe Via Argentum, responded to this review Dear Cristinapirvu,Thank you your words and your opinions. We are glad that you enjoyed the views and hope that your visit to the Fervenza waterfalls was a great experience. Sorry to hear your comment on our menú, hope that next time our Restaurant Val do Deza menú ifullfills your expectations. Thank you for your feedback . Kind RegardsHotel Vía Argentum CEO

Wonderful stay in Hotel Via Argentum

We were biking El Camino and our agency booked us this hotel . It was a wonderful surpise and we just loved everything about this hotel! Very friendly and helpful receptionist, booked us a table in their restaurant, arranged for a massage and helped us to store bikes safely. Everything without complications after a long riding day.Our room was very specious, beautiful view. Now to the restaurant, 5* experience based on many gourmet restaurant comparisons - we have visited during our last 15 days in Spain (because we love good food and wine). Table with a most beautiful view on the 5th floor, experienced and friendly restaurant staff; we got best wine and food recommendations and everything was top!!! Simply the best and once again, compliments to the chef of service and to his staff. The same goes for the bar and spa, wonderful staff. This is a gem in Silleda and great value for money. Keep doing the great work!
