Comfortable and well appointed Hotel
02 Dec 2025
We pulled up to the parking spot at the front door. Walked in and was greeted right away. The parking is limited on site. But a very short walk we were able to park in the public parking garage. The hotel sits at the Marina. There was a seafood festival happening that night. We had so much fun. The room was wonderful. The bathroom was huge. We didn’t get any outside or hallway noise. The view from our room was pleasant. COMERCIAL CIUDAD DE VIGO, Director General at Hotel Ciudad De Vigo, responded to this review Thank you very much for your lovely comment. We’re delighted to hear that you found the hotel comfortable and well equipped, and that your arrival and parking experience were smooth. Our location by the Marina is indeed one of our strengths, and it’s great to know you enjoyed the seafood festival — it always brings a special atmosphere to the area. We’re also very pleased that the room, the spacious bathroom, the quiet environment and the pleasant view contributed to such a positive stay.We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Vigo.Sincerely, **La Dirección Hotel Ciudad de Vigo**

Hotel quiet and convenient but customer service disappointing.

The hotel is in handy location for walking around, the rooms are a bit outdated but perfectly functional. Unfortunately just when we were came back from dinner when going to bed discovered bathroom floor was flooded - water coming from ceiling above so we had to move to another room. Had thought we might at least have got a free breakfast for the inconvenience but not even an apology on checking out. More a 3 than a 4 star hotel .
20 Oct 2024
Hotel in a great location close to the main Restaurant area in Vigo . Nice reception area and reception was efficient but didn’t really offer advice on the location . Deluxe room was disappointing with 3 plastic chairs as furniture and a really sloppy balcony with plastic table . Also very noisy at night not helped by strange balcony . Toiletries not great . Maria F V, Director General at Hotel Ciudad De Vigo, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your stay. We're pleased to hear that you appreciated our convenient location near Vigo's main restaurant area and found our reception efficient. We’re sorry that the deluxe room and balcony furniture did not meet your expectations and that noise affected your comfort. Your comments regarding the furniture and toiletries are valuable, and we will review them to improve our guests' experience. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future, allowing us the opportunity to provide you with a more enjoyable experience. Kind regards.

We arrived late to this hotel due to canceled flights. Only stayed one night as we were starting the Camino the next day. It was a lovely hotel with a comfortable room and bed. The breakfast was very good. The man at the reception desk in the morning was sort of short and curt with us.Location was convenient to the start of the Camino. We’re glad to hear that you found our hotel lovely, with a comfortable room and bed, and that you enjoyed the breakfast. We’re sorry to learn that your interaction at the reception desk in the morning was not as welcoming as it should have been. We will address this with our team to ensure every guest feels valued throughout their stay. It’s great to know our location was convenient for the start of your Camino journey.
