Location

This hotel is located in the city centre, right next to the border with Portugal. Tui’s historical city centre is just 200 metres from the hotel, and there are bars and nightclubs within 5 minutes’ walk. It is a 20-minute drive from the city of Vigo, around an hour away from Santiago de Compostela and Porto on the motorway, and approximately 25 km away from the beaches of A Guarda, Baiona and Vigo. The industrial parks of Porriños and Vila Nova de Cerveira are 5 and 10 minutes away, respectively. The Outeletui shopping centre is a 3-minute drive from the hotel, as is the Valenca do Minho fort. Monte Aloia nature park is a 10-minute drive away and Monte Santa Tecla is roughly 25 minutes away by car. Vigo airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

    Hotel ok for one night during walking the Camino. The hotel gets very old but the staff are doing a good job, it’s clean, rooms are large and breakfast is good also. The location is near all places to see like the Cathedral in Tuy and restaurants are all around.

    First night of walk on the Camino

    We stayed the night before we started our walk and arrived and left in pouring rain. The hotel is well situated in the town, modern, light and airy. The staff on the front desk were helpful. The room and shower room were clean, reasonable size for two friends with cases and rucksacks and included toiletries and hairdryer. The beds were comfortable and the view fine. We had lunch at the restaurant next door which appeared to be attached to the hotel. Dinner started late and we wanted to start our walk early. The food was good but huge portions, very quiet at lunchtime so no atmosphere and a bit clinical. Breakfast consisted of fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold meats,cheese, fruit juice, etc. We were able to make a sandwich for our lunch on walk.

    Although it should have been a 3 star hotel conditions, the floor wasn’t at least swept. The furniture in the room is old. The wifi only works in the lobby. Still, as a positive thing I can say the towels and the sheets were clean and the bathroom was actually ok.

    Good Camino Stop

    My husband and I stayed here one night on the Camino. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view, and the bathroom had both a tub and a shower. The breakfast buffet was extensive, an excellent spread, and the breakfast room had the same view as our room. The hotel pool is nice after a long walk on the Camino. The only downsides were that the hotel seemed understaffed (it took a long time for someone to come check us in at reception), the wi-fi didn't work, and there was peeling linoleum in the otherwise well-appointed bathroom.

    2 night stay in a comfortable, clean room, excellent bathroom with both a shower and bath, very pleasant and efficient front desk, ideal location for the Camino. Breakfast more than adequate. A pleasant stay
