Agreable family-run hotel

Home away from home. Over the years I've stayed numerous times in this friendly hotel. I love the family style service and the home-made meals (based on locally grown produce). It is clean and well-kept. The Florida Mar is walking distance from the beaches, dozens of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.Sanxenxo is a good option for those wishing to visit Santiago de Compostela and other parts of Galicia. It is well-communicated with highways. Beautiful medieval Pontevedra is nearby, and from there you can travel anywhere in Galicia, Spain or Portugal by train or bus.

Nice place, knowledge of Spanish recommended

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately to communicate with them in majority of cases knowledge of Spanish was required.Hotel is clean. No air-conditioning in the rooms. We spend some nights at the beginning of June and it was not an issue. Not sure how it is during the summer. The biggest disadvantage is lack of wi-fi in rooms - only at the reception and "social room" at first floor. César E, Propietario at Hotel Florida Mar, responded to this review Muchas gracias por su opinión. Gracias
