Location

The hotel is located in the centre of Vigos, next to the Corte Inglés shopping centre and the train station, as well as the commercial and business districts of the city. It is not far from Gran Via Street, Principe Street, Puerta del Sol and the Marco Museum. Samil beach is just a 20-minute drive away. Furthermore, the hotel offers easy access to the AP-9 motorway (Vigo-Santiago-Coruña), and to Vigos airport.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 7-storey building with a lift and 28 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Just finished the Camino. We arrived here after an extremely long walk and were treated warmly. The room was adequate for our needs. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and two coffee makers as one was not producing coffee quickly enough.

    After a long day of walking the Camino from Baiona, this hotel was most welcome. It was nice and clean, and the breakfast provided in the morning was adequate. Our stay was booked by Santiago Ways, and our provided dinner was at a restaurant about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel staff provided good information on the restaurant and directions. The hotel is located near a very vibrant section of Vigo; it was fun to see so many people out and about.

    Stayed here for one night after a full day of hiking the Camino. The hotel is just outside the city centre but there are plenty of restaurants around (although lots are closed on a Monday). We chose to go to Bar Imperial, you must visit, it’s about a 10 minute walk from the hotel but worth it!When we arrived the staff were helpful and the rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. Which was just what we needed after hiking all day in the rain.The breakfast in the morning was great, a buffet with plenty to choose from. A mixture of cereals, cakes, meat, bread.If I were being picky, the bathroom (the bath in particular) was a little dirty and they were understaffed in the morning as the bar was full of pilgrims all hiking the Camino wanting to fuel up for the day, the waiter probably needed some help. Apart from that it was a very comfortable stay in a great location!

    After hiking for 17 miles on El Camino, we arrived in Vigo for a one night stay at Hotel Ogalia. The welcoming, friendly staff helped us settle in quickly. Beers with friends in the hotel bar were a relaxing prelude to our dinner in town. Accommodations more than met our needs. On a special note, my wife left a hat behind in the hotel lobby when we left the hotel. Upon returning home in South Carolina, my wife and I contacted the hotel staff and they not only had found and kept the hat but later helped us ship it back to our home. If I have the good fortune to return to Vigo in the future, I will plan to stay at Hotel Ogalia again.

    I've been in vigo sometimes but ogalia is the best hotel you can find. Very clean and confortable room but the best thing is the staff. Noelia & Diego make everything they can to help during your stay.
