    I made an online reservation at Hotel Panton. At check-in I was informed that there was an electrical problem at the hotel (despite the fact that the lights were on in the room beside reception) and that the best solution was to bring me to another hotel a minute away.  I was assured this would be a better hotel, more expensive, and that they would cover the price difference. I was shocked at the room I was assigned at the other hotel  (2 star).  It was like a shoebox, tiny, dark, horrible.  I returned to reception at that hotel, refused to accept that room, and insisted upon a better one.   The receptionist rang Hotel Panton, and I was assigned a more acceptable room.  Please exercise caution when booking Hotel Panton.  If they try to move you to another hotel, don't accept anything less than the standard of room you expect

    This is a 2 star hotel with a very good rate! Located right on the main street that takes you to the Cathedral and close to different attractions, restaurants and train station. Cozy, comfortable and very helpful staff. The clerk was our main point of contact at the hotel since he was working at the reception and make our stay at Panton Hotel very pleasant. Buffett breakfast was included with an orange juice machine that makes your juice fresh daily. Our room was on the 4th floor clean and comfortable. Location is ideal for a morning stroll and very close to everything. Remember reviews are very subjective and only reflect the way of traveling of the person who stayed at the place reviewed. I been traveling for more than 50 years and visited the 5 continents and over 40 countries. So, you can take my review as a good one.

    It was located perfectly in the city center. 15 minutes of walking and you are in the city centre, historical and marítima.Staff is amazing friendly and cozy. RoomWas clean and big. Bathroom was good and big. Wife is excellent. The only problem can be parking if you are coming by car since there is limited space.

    Easy to find. Parking available underneath, Walking distance to centre. Clean. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was reasonable though not spectacular. Wi-fi works. I enjoyed the daytip to the Cies Islands.

    We would highly recommend Hotel Panthon. The staff were so helpful especially Francisco when we had a predicament organising our luggage for collection by correos. It is central, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and has powerful showers.the breakfast was super with freshly squeezed orange juice made in front of us, top quality coffee and fresh croissants. A wonderful start to our Camino. We were so lucky to discover Hotel Panthon.Regards and muchas Gracias from the Humphreys ,Ireland!
