Location

This hotel is located in beautiful Pontevedra on the Spanish mainland. The old town, with its many winding alleyways, lies some 20 minutes' walk away, is well worth a visit and features an abundance of shopping and entertainment venues. The nearest bus stop is about 1.5 km away. Pontevedra lies amidst scenery characterised by prehistoric cave carving which testifies to the ancient past. The city itself offers a diversity of historical and cultural sights including the splendid church of Santa María la Mayor, as well as the Museo de Pontevedra with its array of archaeological finds and wonderful libraries. The sea lies just 200 m from the hotel and Vigo airport is situated approximately 45 km away.

Guests have a choice of 61 rooms, including 11 single rooms and 49 double rooms, located in a 4-storey main building and an auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock.     We have been my brother my mother and I with a scheduled trip 6 days, the truth is that both the customer service, receptionists, Waiters Carlos and Victor, all the staff a 10, very good food, including breakfast, the only thing that catches a little away from Cambados village 3 kilometers for elderly people, in my case we had to take taxi by my mother, the cleanliness very clean, we gave a comfortable and spacious room with outside balcony, I recommend it for our experience.     Super friendly, welcoming, incredibly clean comfortable hotel with delightful swimming pool & outside bar & seating. Every staff member you pass says hello, good morning. The housekeepers were dusting the top of the door frames when we arrived. Thats a sign they truly care about cleanliness & comfort. Staff look smart, have personality & are trained to a high standard. Would defo recommend this hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Top top visit the cafe/bar/ restaurant on the right as you leave the hotel- limited but fabulous menu - home cooked food. V popular. ALso recommend the hair salon before this - great pedicure for 18 euros.

    We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on half board basis but ended up not eating the evening meal as the food was cold and awful. The hotel is very tired, in desperate need of a total overhaul. Very noisy. Advertised dressing gowns and slippers, well they were there but would certainly not use them. Slippers falling to pieces, gown well used. Breakfast was sufficient, but same every morning. The scrambled eggs and bacon stone cold. We really did not want to stay but cancellation policy was 14 days notice, so unable to go else were without it costing us a lot of money. The only good point - the staff were pleasant and bedding was clean.

    We were touring Galicia with a group of 50 people and stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, booked by our travel agents. Some of the rooms were very dated and in need of of good clean and renovation. The bed sheets had holes in them. Very poor noise isolation: we could here other guests walking in the corridor and even in the rooms next to ours. Groups departing early morning or coming back late at night wasn't a nice experience to live when very tired and wanting to sleep.As for the food... Avoid it at all cost. Wine tested like vinegar, no butter for breakfast but horrible pure margarine. When the cornflakes bowl was empty on the second day we asked for more but were told that there was no more! We had to queue with the stale slices of bread in front of the one and only toaster. Coffee was just dark water not even hot enough, as for tea we had to ask for a tea bag, none on display. The food was greasy and not appetising at all. The starters, apart from lettuce, were all coming out of a tin! The pudding were all milk based: milk and a bit of rice, milk and a bit of semolina, milk and tapioca, jelly milk, every meal! We asked for a piece of fruit and were given an orange. We were glad to leave this hotel that needs to be pulled down and rebuilt.
