Horrible, rooms are dated, no hot water, and the phone didn’t work

    Find another accommodation if possible.

We stayed in a king suite. The bathroom really needs updating. Attached are pictures. Mildew. Rust. Our experience has been that most Hampton Inns are not well maintained. May need to start using Marriott properties.

No forks for you! Manager surprised hotel guests expected forks to be available to eat their breakfast

    rating02 Mar 2026

Breakfast hours here are 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM but here were no forks available at 8:00 AM. We, as well as several other guests, were told, “I’m sorry. We’re out of forks”. Most people replied, “You’re kidding,” while others just shook their heads and continued to search through the cutlery containers.Earlier, there was no coffee available in the breakfast area; however, there was some coffee out in the lobby where people were now going to get their cups filled. I decided to go to the front desk to ask questions. There was a young lady at the desk when I asked to speak to the Manager. She told me she was one of the managers so I asked why there were no forks available at 8:00 AM.She said, “I’m sorry, our truck doesn’t come until tomorrow morning.” I replied, “So you won’t have forks available all day and all night. Do you really think that’s acceptable? Don’t you think someone should go out and buy some until the truck does arrive? ”She responded with, “There are spoons back there." I then asked, “How do you expect people to eat waffles dripping with syrup with a spoon?” She said, “Hold on.” Then she went into a closed door and disappeared. I went back to my table and ate a bagel, waiting for the coffee to be refilled, and she approached me, now very sweetly, saying, “She’s going to get some.” At this point another woman, one I assume was the manager, came out of the closed door at the front desk with purse in hand and checked the coffee station, spoke to the women in the kitchen, and then went out the front door. When we first stayed at a Hampton Inn there were actual scrambled eggs – not the disgusting quasi-egg omelets. They seem to have peppers inside as well and some have cheese – not everyone can eat peppers nor does everyone want cheese in their eggs. The muffin and scone choices are pre-frozen, while the “fresh fruit” – bananas – are overripe and spotted. So good-bye Hilton! Not worth the price1

Clean enough, but lacking the Marriot charm. Missing and broken amenities, frigid indoor pool, and overall just "okay".

    rating18 Jan 2026

It was clean enough, but it didn't have the Hampton Inn standards I have come to expect. Our bathroom sink stopper wouldn't stay up, the complimentary shampoo in the shower was empty, and one elevator was stopped all morning with a partially open door on our floor. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool, but it was frigid, even though it was in a temperature controlled room and had been 85° the day prior. It was so cold that kids didn't even want to swim. There was a closed hot tub that was covered with plywood, which the front desk said had been closed for years.

Why offer room selection if not honored?

    rating22 Dec 2025

A little disappointed. I usually stay at Hampton for overnights when driving longer distance. Not a lot, maybe 2-3x a year. I used the app to request a room, and while it says not guaranteed, I kinda hope it gives an inkling. I picked a top floor roof, away from elevators, opposite side from I95. Got there and parking lot was nowhere near full. My room? Third floor. Interstate facing. Right next to elevators. Was awakened at 5:40 AM by family with loud kid going to elevators. Never got back to sleep. Why do we offer up room selection if not honored? Also - the extra latch you can put on door to prevent opening was gone (screw holes present in door jamb). Water in room had beach water taste. They probably can’t control that. Property seemed dated. Would not return to this location after experience.
