Location

The family-friendly beach hotel is situated in the town centre, just 200 m from O Grove's town hall, 50 m from the sea and the port, and only 300 m away from Isla de la Toja. The city of Pontevedra is approximately 20 km from the spa complex and other nearby places of interest include Sanxenxo (10 km away), Cambados and Combarro (both 15 km away). The nearest beach is a 15-minute walk and Vigo Airport is around 60 km from the city hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 22 rooms and 2 suites located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Probably the best hotel in O Grove

    Not bad hotel for such a small town. Stayed at the 4star as we were upgraded. Great price. Room was nice although bathroom really dated. Very clean. Coffee machine available but you had to pay €1.90 per capsule. Should be included. Didn’t have the breakfast. Very nice staff. Comfy beds. Reception area not particularly appealing but not important. All in all a good choice.

    We stayed in the hotel for one week. The room was nice. In the beginning we had one issue with the safe so they finally decided to change but it tooks them quiet a lot time till it was done, but they apologies with one bottle of cava. Beside it everything was perfect, room was clean, nice bathroom, the staff was also OK. The only other think that according to me they could better is the possibility to put the bill from the restaurant to the room account. As we make the booking through the hotel web as promotion we received for free massage and mariscada.

    Considering that O Grove is not very big, the hotel is centrally located. Room and toilet were a good size, and looking onto a small backyard. Our booking included buffet breakfast, that was ok. A bit confusing that a 4* and a 3* hotel had shared facilities, mainly regarding the breakfast area and the restaurant, that we didn´t try. About the spa, it was quite small, and not being included with the reservation, I did not use. Maybe it could be included with every reservation.Nothing fancy, but a reasonable choice.     My husband booked for us to stay at this wonderful hotel as a treat for my 40th birthday. We stayed for 2 nights on a special offer which was called "Breakout Awake Your Feelings" which included treatments and unlimited access to the spa.We stayed in room 1006, a suite, which was well worth the money. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The bed was enormous and had the extra touches of sweets, chocolates and petals. The en-suite was also large with jacuzzi bath and shower. The bedroom could be shut off from the living area with a sliding door and had a large screen tv, a large sectional sofa, fridge and unusually for Spanish hotels a kettle with a selection of herbal teas (no coffee). This room also has patio doors which open out on to a huge terrace.The staff were delightful and the receptionist spoke English, however the spa staff that attended us that day didn't speak English. However, I personally don't think that is a problem as most treatments involve just lying there and relaxing, there isn't any need to talk.The spa was compact but had ample jets for massaging different parts of the body. There was also an ice-room, a dry sauna, a wet sauna and hot beds to lie on. We were given dressing growns and towels, but you will need to take flip-flops and a swimming hat- both can be bought at the hotel if you forget to take your own.My husband went for the chocolate therapy which involved being coverd in chocolate and then wrapped up in foil. He really enjoyed it and said it was very relaxing. I chose the strawberry therapy which involved a strawberry scented scrub followed by "chorro". I knew this involved being sprayed with water, but I wasn't quite prepared for being jet-washed. I found this to be painful, but maybe I'm extra-sensitive. However, after being hosed-down, I then had a wonderful massage which left me feeling extremely relaxed. There are many other treatmennts to choose from so I'm sure everyone would find something to their liking.As part of the package, we received free entry to La Toja which will be reviewed separately. It is a very easy 15 minute stroll across the bridge, not far at all.The breakfast was superb. At last, a place in Galicia that does "tostadas con tomate"- this is very popular all over Spain, but seems to be very hard to come by here in Galicia (where we live) so that was a bonus for me. There was a huge range of cakes, breads and jams, cheese and cold meats. There were 2 different cereals, lots of flavoured yoghurts and plain yoghurt, a lot of fresh fruit and of course tea, coffee and fruit juices. On the first morning, i noticed there were eggs and bacon, but I didn't fancy it. the enxt morning, that option wasn't there and I asked a member of staff if the English breakfast was just for Sundays. It turned out it had been demolished by the early birds and she immediately went away and 5 minutes later we had 2 perfectly cooked eggs and bacon breakfasts.Quite simply, everything was superb and we will definitely visit again. The hotel is excellent, the staff kind and efficient and the position of the hotel is fantastic. You can walk everywhere and yet it was very quiet. Departamento Ca...     Modern ambience but very cold customer service. We stayed 3 nights &nevr felt welcome. The parking is very expensive for the nightmare it takes to go in and out. We had to call the second day to get towels because they forgot to leave them in the room. The third daywe got the shower towels but not the bath. The toiletries are ok, they even give you bath salt when you only have a shower.....The shower stall is very messy, even when u close the glass door the floor gets all wet. Also there is no place to put your soap!
