Does what it says on the tin

Outside of Lalin next to an industrial park. On the Camino Invierno right at the end. Outside of things otherwise. One restaurant nearby but in pouring rain little option but to eat at hotel. Would say this is business hotel. Lacks character. Corridors cell like. Room and bathroom was large but dark decor. Not for a long stay or romance. Spa is small. Again very utilitarian. Not as quiet as expected. Bed comfortable. The lady in charge of dining room at supper was delightful and spoke very good English. Clearly popular hotel for large tour groups. Supper was buffet. Generally Good value. Breakfast buffet was good too. OK hotel but not fantastic. torredodeza, Director Comercial at Hotel Spa Norat Torre do Deza, responded to this review Thank you very much for your comment. We hope to see you again very soon. Very nice surprise!
25 Sept 2019
Ended up there on our way from Astorga to SantiagoEasy on off the roadBut it was a great surprise.Ample free parking (or underground for 3€ ) We arrived at 18:00 and asked if there was room for massages that evening, and the manager, because we were all the way from Canada, really insisted they find us a spot, which they did. So we had a very relaxing time in the spaDining room is a cafeteria, so no ambiance whatsoever and food was just okayWine was goodBreakfast is in the same room and was plentiful. I enjoyed itThe room was gigantic , with a gigantic bathroom as well.... with a pillow menu . Wow, and the bed was very comfortable Yes it is in an industrial park sector , but it is quiet at nite!Would definitely recommend comercial n, Director Comercial at Hotel Spa Norat Torre do Deza, responded to this review Thank you very much for your time in this comment we hope to see you again soon. In an industrial park area outside the center of things. Clean and efficient. Nice bathrooms, great customer service. Cafeteria type restaurant with OK food, the breakfast buffet is plentiful and the beds comfy. torredodeza, Director Comercial at Hotel Spa Norat Torre do Deza, responded to this review Dear Kelleyanne. Definitely needs improvement
20 Sept 2018
We stayed here for one night on our Camino. There is a lack of decent accommodation at this point and this was the best quality hotel available in the area. The room was adequate, but the sleep quality was abysmal. The air conditioning kept stopping and after opening the window for air we were assailed by mosquitos! We were booked in for half board and it was truly abysmal. Firstly dinner is not served until 9pm which is useless for anybody who has walked all day and needs an early start the following day. The meal was a tasteless soup (no idea what is was supposed to be), chicken escalopes (renamed by us as cardboard chicken). We went to bed hungry! The waiter did however recommend a good bottle of wine, Pago Florentine 2009. It was the highlight of the stay! Breakfast was average, good coffee though.
