  We were coming from the typical all-inclusive hotels... beachfront... lots of people... so we thought about trying something different.(Warning... we are going to elaborate xDD)We started at reception: Wonderful information on places to eat, what to visit, beaches, wineries... a 10! Everything so personal, that they are able to learn the names of all the guests! XDDRoom; We got one with a view of the pool. It didn't have the hair dryer that was on the website, but you request it at reception and that's it. And if you want a small fridge in the room, for 11€ you have it for your entire stay (don't expect much from these fridges, they are what they are everywhere...). The cleaning was good and we didn't have any complaints about them.Another curious detail that I haven't had in hotels with more stars is that all the rooms have a doorbell, and it is not an excessive or annoying noise.Only one elevator but super fast.Parking: The main spaces are at the entrance, less than 10 (3 for disabled people). And another dirt parking lot next to the hotel with an entrance to another interior one (which we didn't use, that one is paid). That gets a bit out of hand... there is no control over whether someone from the hotel or from outside parks there, and people who don't care if it's for disabled people... in the end they put some boxes in those spaces with a \"reserved\" sign. The dirt parking lot is a bit crazy... there isn't even a sign outside indicating that it is for the exclusive use of the hotel. Aside from the fact that everyone parks however they want there, and they take up more space than they should, taking away the option for others to park there. That would be solved with some vertical poles or markings on the ground to delimit each space.Anyway... parking in that area on the street... is super simple even in high season.Pool: Open if I remember correctly from 9 or 10 in the morning until 9 PM. No one rushes to reserve a lounge chair (which in principle is prohibited), there are enough. Very quiet.(Mostly domestic and Portuguese tourism)Dining room: WOW...... this has been a totally new experience!! HOMEMADE food!! But cooked in the hotel itself!! It is the first time that all the food tastes good to us and like what it is supposed to taste like! From breakfast scrambled eggs to dinner; garden salad tomatoes, rice dishes, meats, seafood, and homemade desserts (flan, mousse, fruit salad, pears in wine, gelatin, cheesecake, rice pudding, custard) and the fruit!! Incredible experience where you eat watermelon that tastes like watermelon... melon that tastes like melon... and if something arrived that they didn't think was at its peak, they don't serve it that day!Any additional request is attended to and remembered by the dining room staff.The drink situation is curious and interesting; if you order a 1.5-liter bottle, if you don't finish it, you can leave it and they will save it for the next day, the same with the wine.Another very good and new thing for us... each table has a number that corresponds to your room. The norm is that that table is always the same for your entire stay. So there is no need to go running to grab a table; it is waiting for you there with the drink from the previous day.Many, many thanks to the 2 waiters and the 2 waitresses. Always attentive to clear your plate and ensure you don't lack anything.Regarding the hotel cafeteria/bar, we made little use of it. But it is there, and with a chill-out area on the ground floor next to the pool area, and a room with a pool table and board games.Surely we are leaving out more things to tell... but the best thing is for you to go and check it out for yourselves.   We stayed here for four nights this OctoberThe hotel was super clean and the staff very helpfulThe breakfast was amazing and there was always fruit available at every mealThe bedrooms were very comfortableI can only criticise the bath towels are a bit hard & small & the wc could be a bit of a squeeze as it's wedged by the door!It was as I would expect for this sort of hotel

  Quaint hotel with quiet atmosphere.

  Stayed 2 nights here while touring Portugal and Galicia. This hotel is located about 3 or 4 km from the beach in Sanxenxo so you do need a car to get around. It faces on to a main road but it wasn't too noisy and the back of the hotel faces on to the hotel pool (which was a good size). Each room has its own small balcony and though our room faced the road it was still pleasant to sit out on the balcony. Our room was of average size with a good sized bathroom. The decor was traditional in style with chintz printed curtains and bedspreads. Our room and the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. We were warmly welcomed at reception and given tips on what to see and do in the area. At breakfast we even had our own numbered table in the dining room. Though there was no hot water readily available for tea the waitress was able to bring me a pot of tea. There was a good variety of breakfast fare on offer too. We used this hotel as a base for seeing the coast of Galicia.... lovely area with fine sandy unspoilt beaches. We also travelled the 80 km to Santiago de Compostela so this hotel and area is a good base for seeing Santiago too.

  This hotel is simply great! The rooms are comfortable, the pool is very beautiful and the staff is very nice and helpful. The better way to stay in this hotel is with breakfast and dinner included. The buffet is wondeful, very nice food, good variety. Worthy for the price! I hope to come back next year!
