  Superb restaurant but why is it not listed under restaurants?Note I had not stayed here but had booked a hotel in nearby Bourg Madame in France. However there was not a single restaurant open that evening in Bourg Madame.So I walked up the road towards Puigcerda and came across this hotel. There were also a couple of other restaurants nearby but they didn’t look attractive. I checked that’s they served non-residents and ordered the €27.50 menu. It was superb with so many potential choices that I fancied. I also ordered a bottle of reasonably priced Rioja Crianza which they kindly kept half back as I had already decided I would be back the following evening.I ended up eating there every evening of the five nights I stayed in Bourg Madame. It was only an 8 minute walk.I intend returning to stay at the hotel at some future date with my wife and possibly some friends.Possibly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, especially for the price. And I am well travelled.

  A family trip to escape the heat of the plains this summer, and ended up here quiet by accident.A one-night stay edged to two and morphed into three as we became comfortable with the property and loved the environment around Puigcerda. The pool is great, the staff friendly and the restaurant very good ...I will return!

  Check in was fast. Rooms were large but ours had the old bathrooms with bathtub. I think ours was a triple although booked double room. It is a simple room with all you need. Lifts are a bit old.Breakfast is better than some 4 star hotels. They prepare omelettes and fried eggs and large variety.We also had dinner and ate well. The only problem was that they burnt one of the dishes so that person ate the main course while the rest had dessert.Advantage is the large parking the hotel has. It is located a short drive from the city center but easy to go to ski slopes or snow areas.

  A bunch of friends celebrating several birthdays. 20 adults + 21 children. Not an easy challenge.The Prado team passed the exam with a good mark.Staff was very attentive with kids and prioritized their food so they kept calm...Good wine menu. Good traditional Catalan food : butifarra, entrecote and healthy selection of salads as starters.
