  Comfortable hotel close to centre of town

  Pros:A charming old (renovated) hotel walking distance to centre of town Great view of university and cathedral from hotelNice outdoor seating area for a night-time drinkUnderground hotel parkingComfortable large and clean roomsCons:Staff seemed disinterested when we checked in (in fact we got the impression we were a inconvenience)The underground car park is tight so large vehicles take some maneuvering.

  Good but expensive

  Lovely hotel close enough to the tourist areas of Salamanca - about 8 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. Our room had beautiful views towards the cathedral, which was breathtaking at night.Having said that, the price was much higher than similar hotels in Salamanca, and the €20 per night car parking was the highest we paid in Spain.   Travel convenience & Tourist Friendly

  The third time we had stayed here as we travel from the UK to the Algarve. On this occasion, and on arrival, we decided to stay a second night so as to fully explore Salamanca. We were pleased that the hotel could accommodate our request. The location of the hotel is brilliant for visiting all the local attractions & we felt that we achieved all we had hoped from our extended stay. Staff are attentive, especially the evening restaurant team. Parking easy & secure. Rooms are well equipped & we enjoyed awaking to the views. Looking forward to staying over again later this year.   A comfortable and emjoyable stay

  We truly enjoyed our 4-day stay. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. One person actually took my postcards for grandchildren with her and personally mailed them for me. They were always friendly and glad to hear our questions and provide excellent recommendations.The hotel was perfectly located for our activities at the University of Salamanca and a short walk to the Plaza Mayor. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was quiet. The cleaning staff did a terrific job.The city is well-light at night, so you can feel comfortable being out after the sun sets.Runners/walkers: ask the front desk how to get to the running/walking path that parallels a river. It's a short distance away and it's a safe place to run or walk.
