  Would stay again without hesitation!

  The hotel is well situated on the back of the Plaza Mayor with a passage adjacent through to the Plaza and lots of restaurants in the vicinity. From the hotel we easily walked to the University/Old Town and the Urban Art areas of town. Our room was modern, quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with quality items. Reception was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the pool. A great stay, thank you!

  Beautiful Hotel next door to beautiful Plaza Mayor in Salamanca

  Beautiful hotel and centrally located. Love the Staff and their breakfast buffet. We walked to all the popular sites of Salamanca from here. Plaza Mayor, one of the most beautiful plazas I have been in is maybe 2 short blocks. I highly recommend this Hotel when you are in Salamanca.

  Pluses :LocationLarge, very comfortable bed.Friendly Staff.Excellent Breakfast BuffetProbably the most powerful Shower we have ever had outside of America.MinusesThe Shower bracket is so weak that if you use more than 50% power then after a few seconds the whole assembly flies off the wall soaking the ceiling, walls, all the dry towels and the floor as far as the door!The Room looks out on to a well in the middle of the building. The view is so bad that the windows are opaque. Really only suitable as a Store Room.But nearby is a wonderful, bespoke Coffee Shop, Qui Lom Bo (see separate Review)Hayling Seagoon

  No working Airconditioning

  The hotel has no working airconditioning. I called reception after hours of running air conditioning because it was still warm, and I was told by reception that it runs on central heating and that it does not have individual air conditioning.. concha bustos, Director General at Catalonia Plaza Mayor Salamanca, responded to this review Thank you very much for your comments.   Smelt nice on entry. Feeling of calm. Extremely comfortable bed and quiet room. Safe was easy to operate.Good lighting. Good bathroom. Full length mirror. Stable internet.Good breakfast spread. Fantastic location.Couldn't be better. No complaints.
