  Our stay at the Puente Romano Hotel in Salamanca Spain was awful. The man at reception was not very welcoming, he was miserable, unfriendly, and looked like he hated his job. The furniture and decor was tired, dirty, out of date and the whole hotel was extremely unkept. The chandelier in the dinning room has about 25 bulbs and only about 9 working, the swimming pool was in need of missing tiles, the TV remote in our room was not working as the back was missing and the old worn out batteries were poorly cello taped in, the bedroom walls and ceiling was wafer thin and you could hear every noice coming from next door and above. If you want a lie in then you will need ear plugs as workman start at 8.00am hammering away, moving furniture around etc. I cannot make out how this hotel was 4 star and In my opinion needs completely renovating and better management with higher standards.

  We stayed 1 night while visiting Salamanca. Paid parking is available. Nice walk across the bridge to the Cathedral and Old Town. Staff very nice! We weren’t sure about the neighborhood, but it was fine. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool area, but we didn’t use it. Relaxing drinks at the bar. The staff could see we were hot from walking, so they brought over cold water and snacks! Thank you, very thoughtful!

  great location and fantastic views in the evening.it is in a good location and easy to find.breakfast could have ben better.but the rooms were well equiped and comfortable.staff were friendly and the bar prices were not extortionate.would revist.

  The hotel is located near the bridge to the old town, easy walk and stunning views. Parking for 11 euros is secure underground or free on the nearby street. We had a terrace and good view of the cathedral, the double bed was two singles pushed together but comfortable, though the pillows weren't great. Staff very helpful, room clean, good shower, all in all solid performance.

  Good things:The hotel has a pool.The room was clean and confortable. The location is great. We can visit all the city on foot from the hotel. Bad things:The mini fridge doesn't work correctly. During the night the hotel is a little bit noisy and there's a humming sound from the electrical panel inside the room 🤔
