  I arrived in Salamanca by bus, so I walked to this hotel. The bus station is about 1.5 km away. Acceptable. The hostel is closer to the center, on the inner ring road, about 10-15 minutes walk. Hostal Santel San Marcos is located in a residential building, entrance from the courtyard. There is no 24-hour reception, I will have to go in along the way and then find the key, which caused me some difficulties. My room had windows facing the courtyard so it was very quiet. Everything is very clean. The price for the room is acceptable (29 euros). A good place to spend the night.

  Rather noisy even though not in the centre. Rather unhelpful on reception even though we needed assistance. However, very reasonable price and comfortable enough rooms. Although shower didn’t work properly.

  Its a hostal, so do not expect very large rooms or luxury. It is clean though and reception staff is helpful. Location is ideal: on a traffic free square right next to shopping avenue calle Zamora. No more than 5 mins from all the sights.

  Did a 2 night stay as part of a tour. Friendly hotel with a great location at the edge of the Old centre. It's a short walk to everything you'd want to see. The hotel does an excellent daily menu, 3 great courses and a full bottle of wine for 12 euros 50. Nice outdoor seating area in the old ruins in the hotel grounds too.

  Great for short visits, near everything you would need and want to see. Good for night life and tourist attractions. Rooms were clean and had a good shower room. Ample space to live in for a weekend visit.
