    This is a great hotel with a perfect location. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are good sized, and includes a kitchenette and a balcony. The breakfast is tasty and offer is good variety. The hotel is located one street off the harbor and his easy walking distance to the wharf, the shopping area, restaurants. For those traveling back to the United States it is half a block to the ferry. I’ve stayed here before and will happily stay again. The price is very reasonable for the area and the amenities.

    Let’s start with the positives. Great location. Very easy to walk to many restaurants or attractions. Secure parking. Now for the negatives, about $20 for parking per day inside the basement parking garage. Everywhere we went in Victoria we had to pay for parking so I guess that may be the norm. It is quite challenging to park and leave your parking spot in their parking garage. Furniture dated. Not many electrical outlets in the room. Coffee from the breakfast area was not good. The rest of the breakfast offerings were just okFinally there is major construction going on till sometime in 2027 across from the hotel which created daily noise. We are glad you enjoyed our central, Inner Harbour location and found our underground & gated parking secure.Our parking fee is disclosed during the booking process and is also included in the reservation confirmation sent prior to arrival. We understand that parking is an additional expense, but as you noted, paid parking is common throughout downtown Victoria.We appreciate your comments regarding the room furnishings, electrical outlets, and breakfast. Feedback like this is helpful as we look at areas where we can make improvements.The construction across from the hotel is an extensive off-site project, the Belleville Terminal Redevelopment Project, that is expected to continue into 2027. Information about this project is noted on our website and in confirmation emails prior to arrival. While the work is taking place across from the hotel and outside of our control, we recognize that the associated daytime noise can be disruptive for guests. Thank you again for your feedback.

    Staff, balcony, wifi, breakfast all great! Toilets are tiny and are difficult for elderly, so low to floor. Hard to complain it was fine!

    Good value right off the Inner Harbor

    This hotel was a nice surprise in a great location. They even had an outdoor pool and a large, well maintained hot tub. Breakfast was included and was adequate for our needs. The room was large and had two comfortable chairs in the room and an outdoor patio with a table and chairs. It was very clean with good amenities. It was a good value. As Texans, we were a little freaked that it was not air conditioned, but with a fan and the window (screened) open, it was very comfortable at night. Despite being steps from the Inner Harbor, it was quiet.

    I spent a lot of money to spend four nights here. I’m only on night one and they didn’t have the room stocked with all the amenities. Then in the middle of taking a shower and being fully lathered up the water was shut off. No warning. No phone call or text. So I got to sit with dried soap on my body for an hour before the water came back. Very uncomfortable. Not even one full night and so far not much to praise this place about Rachel Dickinson, General Manager at Best Western Plus Inner Harbour, responded to this review Hello Mark S,Thank you for your feedback, and please accept my sincere apologies that your stay was impacted by an unexpected plumbing emergency on your first night with us.Late that evening, we experienced an unexpected plumbing emergency that required the water to be shut off immediately while a plumber completed the necessary repairs. They arrived promptly, and water service was restored within an hour.As the interruption began around 10:45 p.m., we made the difficult decision not to call every guest room, as we were mindful that many guests may have already been asleep. Guests who contacted the front desk during the outage were advised of the situation and offered a follow-up call once the water service had been restored.I completely understand how frustrating and inconvenient it would have been to have your shower interrupted without warning, and I am very sorry that this unexpected emergency affected your stay.I am also sorry to hear your room was missing amenities upon arrival. That is certainly not the standard we strive for, and our front desk would have been happy to provide any missing items had we been made aware.Thank you again for sharing your feedback.
