  Don’t allow the brutalist facade of this building to put you off. Inside the front door a warm welcome awaits, along with jaw-dropping views. We loved every minute of our time here. We stayed in a superior room and it was worth every cent extra, the view was spectacular. Excellent bus connections into the city centre for €1.20 per person, departing from outside the hotel gate. Otherwise, it is 30 minute walk and quite hilly. An excellent choice if you are staying in Salamanca.   Nice hotel but dining with mobile phones

  We had a nice experience at this hotel. Very polite and efficient bar staff and those serving at breakfast.However, it would be a better experience for all guests if there was a policy on mobile phone use by guests at breakfast and bar/dining/pool area. Each morning our breakfast was ruined by guests taking long and loud mobile phone calls beside us. Also, in the bar area, patio, and around the pool.   The staff were friendly and professional and the hotel was excellent . I would certainly recommend it.   Lovely modern hotel overlooking the city. Ample free parking. Staff were all very friendly. Dinner was excellent at night, one of the best we’ve had in paradores. We should have asked for a room with a city view.
