Only stayed 1 night as part of a coach tour.Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff.Even as a solo traveller I was given a lovely large double room, with a huge shower - more like a wet room. Fridge + tea/coffee making in room.Dinner was average - possibly because we were a group we had a set menu, but they did cater for vegetarians and allergies. Breakfast was good, buffet style and included hot food.Only failure was that they didn't link (ie rooms close together) my friend and I as requested.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are excellent. The furnishings are excellent and everything is very clean. The bar area is uninviting and looks like it is not a place to hang out or relax. The reception staff are functional but not warm or friendly.There is a lady who sits in the foyer who is not a hotel employee but she recommends restaurants. These recommendations are nothing but tourist traps and it is obvious she is on commission rather than providing a bona fide service.

Discriminatory behaviour towards non-Spanish guests.

there was no free table for breakfast at 10 am on sunday, we waited. Two tables were vacated, cleaned up and Spanish guests who came after us, were assigned the tables and we were told to keep waiting. "Espera!" we wanted to complain to the reception, and the gentleman only gave us the tip to come earlier, as breakfast already started at 8 o'clock. I tried to speak to the manager, but he said there wouldn't be one. And suddenly, he was on holiday and we didn't have the right to speak to him anyway. The women from the breakfast service were making signs among themselves as if we were crazy. Mrs Monica deliberately bumps into the chair of my fellow travellers as they walk past and then looks belligerent instead of apologising. I have been travelling to Spain for years and I have never encountered such unfriendliness

Dear customers.We always hope that all our customers enjoy their stays with us, but a few times (fortunatley), our guests insist on not enjoying their stay no matter we so. All people who work with the public know we are talking about. Both of you, came into the breakfast room at the busiest time. You wanted a table inmediatly and our personal told you that there were other persons (spanish or foreign people) waiting outside before you. But you insisted on telling us that you were first. You didn't listen to reasons. There was only yours. But not. We owe ourselves to all our clients, regardless of their nationality. And if other clients were waiting before you, we couldn't serve you and leave other clients, as important as you, unattended. We are sorry you didn't understand this. As we know by another custormers in the breakfast room, your attitude was quite embarrassing. You were provoking our staff the whole time you were having breakfast, and it's really quite unfortunate on your part.We hope that you feel better writing the comment you have written. The hotel is old as so the equipment. The staff is nice. Great location near the all touristic sites in Salamanca. It doesn't have parking spaces. The breakfast is average. The lobby is too small. 3 stars
