This attractive hotel is ideally located on the River Tormes, close to the old Roman bridge. The town centre and its various places of interest, as well as numerous shopping facilities and entertainment venues can be reached within a five-minute walk. A link to the public transport network is to be found just 50 metres from the hotel. Salamanca Airport is 15 km from the hotel, Valladolid Airport is about 100 km away and the nearest ski region is around 80 km away.

Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Our stay at the Vincci Ciudad hotel was comfortable and uncomplicated. We were there for one week at the end of May. The greeting at reception was friendly and the check-in was fast. The location was perfect for us, with just a 20-minute walk over the historic Puente Romano bridge to the city center. The rooms were nicely designed, well-kept and comfortable. The beds were of a high quality. All the facilities were in working order, including in the modern and well-appointed bathroom. A nice surprise was the breakfast. In comparison to some hotels in Spain of the same category and quality, this breakfast met our taste and expectations as close to 100% as you can get: excellent coffee—cappuccino on request, eggs, bacon, sausage, tortilla, a very good selection of (ripe and sweet) fruits, orange and pineapple juice, cereals, yogurt, bakery goods including croissants, white and whole-grain breads, churros and other sweets, homemade cakes, etc. There was really only one small point which we could recommend to the management for improvement. We booked a junior suite. The bedroom part could have better lighting. There was no light behind the armchair for reading and the bedside lamps were also too dim for reading in the evening and consisted of the cool white light instead of the warmer yellow-white lighting. In general, the lighting in that junior suite could be improved. This was not a major issue for us, however it seems like a point which could be addressed at a very low cost to the hotel.

    On the + side: Comfortable bed (although a bit narrow), shower AND bathtub, excellent breakfast, and parking with FREE chargingOn the - side: No Uber/Bolt in Salamanca, so a taxi ride to the historical centre will cost you about €8. Tip: Don't ask the reception to order a cab for you, or the pick-up fee will amount to €5.70. Instead, take a look outside the hotel to spot cabs waiting in the street, and ask the driver. The pick-up fee will then be only €2.5 (approximately).

    Ideal location just by Roman bridge. Short walk across bridge into the old town. Modern, clean hotel with decent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Recommended for an overnight in Salamanca.
