  Sorry to say not to our 4 star standard. On approaching the hotel, which looked impressive we were received by very courteous reception staff. From then on things became very disappointing. To start with we must have been given the worst room in the hotel (122) as the noise throughout the day and night was horrendous due to the tipping of empty bottles into a skip right by our window. There was no balcony, tea making facilities or TV programs or SUN in the room. The cleanliness of the room was very good and the staff in the bar were excellent. I am aware you can not please everyone all the time but we feel let down on the hotel rating of 4 star.

  Hotel fine drinks not so much.

  Early days yet. But our first impressions, it's ok BUT there is an issue with watering the wine down. We had 2 wines in the bar before our meal. It was just about. drinkable. Then we went for our meal and had the same wine unopened and it was fine. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take the wine up to your room or bar. This is very disappointing as the food and staff are fine and the rooms are clean. Stop trying to rip your all inclusive customers off by watering the drinks. We are still here if the management would like to discuss the issue. Maybe they are not aware? Apart from that the food and accommodation is fine.This is our 13th time in salou.

  Deceiving Photos: A Disappointing and Basic Stay.

  My stay at 4R Salou Park Resort I was quite underwhelming, as the reality of the hotel failed to match the misleading online photos. The rooms were extremely cramped, and the overall property felt tired, basic, and in need of a significant refresh. While the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, the lack of aesthetic appeal and the disappointing pool area made it clear that this is far from a luxury destination. I mean it wasn’t the worst but it could have been better.

  I’ll start with I’m not one of these people that expects the world for nothing. The location is pretty good, your 2 minutes from the strip and general local shops for next to anything u will need and your opposite the beach.The atmosphere was very flat from the staff, who always looked miserable and moody except for Adrian & Ian ????. The drinks didnt open till 10 am even for a coffee, unless you went down to the restaurant and had the smallest cups possible. Nearly always a cue for the drinks machine they need more. The rooms were only cleaned every couple of days for us and we were there for 10 days.Entertainment was good from what we saw, very loud so hard to sleep if you go to sleep before 11pm. The bar closes at 11 as well and then you had to go into the rooms, you could no longer sit outside or in the bar.The food was okay I’m very fussy but had chips most nights they had chicken beef pork and stuff but wasn’t for me. The snack bar was the best bit but a shame you can only continue when food service isn’t on. You are only allowed 2 drink per wristband if your with a group, slightly annoying can’t getting everyone’s drinks.The rooms had this awful stench of sewage/bad drains really quite bad :(.A lot of people that are staying at resort 2 will come and use the sunbeds and pool from there’s because it is mainly in the shade. Plus the pool doesn’t open till 9 and then your not always guaranteed a lounger because everyone queues up, puts a towel down on the longer and will disappear for hours ???????. Very frustrating! Overall I would class it as a medium 3 star, it doesn’t deserve the 4 start rating.Hope this helps some people ????. And sorry to be critical but I wanted to be honest x
