    Too noisy

    rating14 Apr 2026

Hotel was ok, full of kids from large groups (50+ kids in groups). No control and noisy all night. Unfortunately reception was not very helpful and said nothing we can do about it. Location good, food very average. If you want a peaceful holiday with a good nights sleep, this hotel is not for you.

    Good value for money 🏨

    rating20 Jan 2026

This is a cozy hotel. The room was spacious, nice, and clean. We had all inclusive, and there was indeed a wide choice of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service was good, polite, and attentive. The hotel offers parking for an additional fee, and there is also street parking available nearby. I recommend it.

Be more accommodating to Solo visitors

    rating07 Nov 2025

I would have given this hotel 5 had I not had a receptionist give me miss information on my arrival and after being at the hotel for a week, I had a friend arrive in Salou Park 1. I had to go to Salou Park 1 for my lunch so I asked at reception if I could go to Salou park 1 for my evening meal to eat with my friend who was also solo. I was told no! Quite rudely that I must eat my meals in Salou Park 11. The very same evening when I came down to eat Salou Park 11 was closed and I was told I had to eat in Salou Park 1! Funny how the rules changed when they didn’t have enough staff to open both sides! The bar staff were lovely, the food was all inclusive, there were usually something nice in the choices, the rooms were clean and the cleaners were lovely! It’s in a good location, I would stay again if in the area

You get what you pay for

    rating02 Nov 2025

Salou Park 2 Hotel Resort is a hotel located about a 20 minute transfer from Reus airport in Salou. It is located a three to four minute walk to the nearest beach heading away from the hotel with local shops, bars and restaurants immediately opposite. The road leading down from the hotel leads to a shopping and dining precinct where there are supermarkets, gift and souvenirs shops, restaurants and bars. You can walk through this area to get to another beach which runs along the main promenade of Salou leading onto Cambrilis in the distance. Portaventura is within walking distance (about 25 minutes in foot) and the House Of Illusion is on the beach front next to the marina (about a 20 minute walk away). Restaurants around the hotel include an American Diner, traditional Spanish food, Italian, Chinese, Indian as well as a Burger King and a KFC. The supermarket across the road from the hotel does a litre of water for around 80 cents which is cheaper than the hotel from the vending machine so you may wish to stock up. One thing to note about this hotel is that you are able to share the facilities with its' sister hotel, Salou Park 1 except for eating in the restaurant. This means you can access an additional pool, additional entertainment, a kids entertainment area as well as, at extra cost, a spa. This is not advertised well so you may wish out on, in my opinion, some of the better facilities at the other hotel located across the pool. You enter the hotel from the main road which is the same drop off and pick up point for both hotels. Bettering through into reception is the reception desk, a seating area, some local information and the lifts. There are some toilets next to the lifts with the restaurant beyond that. The stairs off to the left lead up to the floors and down to the spa with vending machines for food and drink. NB - on the website we booked through, we saw there was an internal bar which was heavily featured in publicity but never opened when we were there so there is only one bar for this hotel which is the poolside bar.We checked in and handed over our passports for checking and scanning. We were given our all inclusive wrist bands and given the rules about how all inclusive works before being asked to sign a document and then getting our passports back. We also had to pay the tourist tax which, from what I remember was not very expensive. We were given our key and we made our way to our room on the first floor.Entering our room, you turned left into the bathroom where there was a bath with an overhead shower. There were enough towels for two people as well as having hand-wash and shampoo mounted on the wall next to the sink and the bath. The bathroom was clean and tidy and had enough space to be comfortable.Next to the bathroom was a slidable wardrobe with a safe (payable at reception) and coat hangers. Opposite three single beds was a wall mounted TV, sideboard, cupboard and a fridge (great to store water and after sun). The curtains on the patio doors were lined and acted as blackout curtains for a door that opened onto a two person balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and mains street. One thing I did notice was that the cupboard door on the sideboard was wonky and the button on the air conditioning was broke but it was fine. Trying to work out how to turn up and/or off the air conditioning proved to be challenging and I had to resort to Google lensing it to try and work out what I was doing to cool the room down.Back in reception is a seating area and local excursion information as well as doors leading to one of the pools and poolside bar and one leading out onto the main street. Next to the poolside bar is the stage for the evening entertainment as well as a small area for outdoor sports. The poolside bar provides snacks and drinks including alcohol, soft drinks and tea and coffee as well as toasties, chips, burgers and pizzas. The bar serves food when the restaurant is closed and serves alcohol up until 11am. The indoor bar at the sister hotel serves drinks up until the same time and has separate entertainment to that of this hotel even though it alternates between the two hotels. The food in the restaurant was OK and what you would expect from a 3 star all inclusive hotel. The food is plentiful and varied enough for there to be something for everyone but compared to its' sister hotel, it does appear somewhat lacking and subpar. That said, we only ate in the restaurant about 5 times over the two weeks we were there and could not really complain. You do need to present your room key card cover that has your room number on when you go into the restaurant. In the sister hotel, there is a spa which you can pay to use and there is an indoor kids entertainment area for pool and arcade games. That said, a couple of the machines took my money but did not work so I was a couple of Euros down which was annoying, as did one of the vending machines in reception so just be careful.Overall, I was apprehensive about going to this hotel having read some negative reviews on here so I will be honest, I arrived with low standards and expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, tidy and served its purpose as a good base to explore so I had no complaints. Staff were generally pleasant and friendly and it was a good holiday. This hotel is a 3 star hotel and it is worthy of that star so I think that is fair. If you come expecting the Rotz or the Hilton for a shoestring budget, you will be disappointed. However, if you come with a sense of curiosity and realism, this hotel should more than serve its purpose. For what you will pay, you will get fed and watered in a clean hotel with a pool and entertainment provided. If you get bored of the hotel food, there are enough places around to nip out and get a bite to eat to mix it up. This hotel is ideally located to access the beaches, shops and restaurants and it is a good place to be based to explore Salou and Cambrils. Close enough to the action to be within walking distance but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet, you cannot go wrong if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. Would I go back?...probably but maybe not for as long as we did as it began to feel samey. Is it worth the money? I would definitely say so!!

    Terrible staff attitude

    rating16 Oct 2025

Staff are the main reason for poor feedback. If the management just took the time to listen to poor feedback rather than going out of there way to justify bad behaviour they might go some way to improving things at the hotel.I endured one terrible staff member who went out of her way to be rude to me and my wife all because she didn't listen to a simple explanation about a mix up.The problem was all the little comments and words in Spanish were completely understood by us.And she seemed surprised when we gave her looks. This hotel will never improve unless managers realise that staff aren't always honest and innocent. And don't care when you tell them that you are unhappy. We (customers) are the reason you are here not an inconvenience for you to endure
