  A very well run hotel rooms we're clean with a daily cleaning service. Breakfast was very good with the usual breakfast choices. Dinner was exceptionally good with mussels prawns crab razor clams cray fish fresh griddled fish .carvery every night. A real delight fresh salads. And something for the not so adventures like chicken nuggets and pizza and chips. Our only negative comment is that there was no smoke free area .A short walk to the beach and lots of shopping. Great value for what we paid. A big thank you to everyone especially the restaurant team back and front of house.   Stayed for a week half board. Great price . Food was good , always a carvery joint on the go at teatime. Breakfast was usual Spanish breakfast . Room wasn't a bad size but would of been better without the 3rd bed although I used it as a sofa to sit on . Wasnt good that the plug sockets/light switches were behind our heads ?? kept switching them on and off and banging my head on the plug . Smallish TV on the wall , no English channels . Entertainment very very loud but ends at 11pm . Didn't use the pool as it was very cloudy and read some bad reports from previous guests . Lots of sunbeds . Saw people going down around 8.30am but there was always some spare throughout the day . You can also use the salou park resort 1 pool which is next door just a little further up the hill Not much sun on the pool in park II but sun all day in park I . There's also a sun terrace up there , shame what looked like a shallow pool up there didnt have any water in it , that would of been perfect to cool down in . Not much sun on our balcony until late.afternoon as we were facing the wrong way . ?? we had a good holiday for a great price ??   Returned home a few days ago. Having read the reviews I was dreading the holiday but I have to say it was nothing like I had read. Definitely would return.Modern room cleaned daily with fresh towels even when we didnt need them. Always something to eat in, breakfast was the same every day but different evening meal every day but pizza available every evening. Only thing I did pick up was the food could be hotter but there is microwaves if needed.Snack bar was lovely food, good prices for food and drinks.Lovely beach just up above hotel and just down from the hotel many pubs and restaurants and a supermarket.Staff were all friendly.The umbrellas for the pool you have to ask at the outside bar but plenty there just needed to ask. No concerns over pool in park 2, does have some shade during the day when it goes around park 1 but it isn't for too long.   Hotel is ok. Staff are useless. We have no air conditioning and they say it’s due to the power in the building however I have been talking to others who are staying here and theirs is working perfectly. They are offering no solution to this even though we have paid to have air conditioning in our room. Our hair dryer went on fire the second I turned it on. There is little to no chance in getting a sun lounger by the pool.
