  Will never return again . Horrendous experience. Checked in no problem got to lodge changed quickly as the kids were mad for some food and the pool . No where on site to eat as the kitchen supposedly closes for a few hours so we were told to get some snacks from the supermarket!!! Ended up paying 30 euro to get a taxi into McDonald's as we had been up nearly 12 hours at that stage and were starving. After getting back to our lodge and having a proper look around we realized the place was dirty ,that the "fully" equip kitchen was a hob a microwave and a fridge some pots and pans etc. The front door lock was falling off so not very safe . The main bedroom window was all cracked and falling in . The shower had barely a trickle of water coming out of it and don't get me started on the ants everywhere. Wardrobe doors wouldn't close properly or The main bedroom door ider. The finally straw for us was when we realized the smoking detector had been removed from the ceiling. We were told we would have to wait till the manager came on duty the next day at 2 pm before we could make a complaint which we did. We managed to get a refund for the rest of the nights as the whole site was full so we could not be moved. Trying to get the money refunded was the another problem as the original card I used to pay for some of the Holiday had expired they couldn't refund to that so they then decided on a bank transfer to which I was told it wasn't possible because my bank account name is mine and my husbands married name and the booking was under my maiden name as that's whats on my passport . Eventually after a lot of tutting and huffing from the receptionist it was done. the older lady on reception is very very rude and really should not be dealing with the public Alex Dragan, Director General at Alannia Els Prats, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback.   In a word, disappointing. Just not enough going on for the size of site. A medium pool you are not allowed inflatables in or allowed to eat or drink next to the pool, a football astro area with broken flashing lights which are incredibly irritating at night, a mini golf at an extra cost and a games room all at an extra cost. That is it. Just not enough to do. There is some evening entertainment at the weekend but it was all in Spanish so not very inclusive. Would not recommend. Also the premium exclusives do NOT come with a kettle and toaster as advertised. We raised this with reception and got nowhere.   Good place for family holidays plenty of variety , motorhomes, campervans, etc and fixed cabins. Shop on site is very handy. Washing machines not working and no toilets near to beach, which was a pain when desperate. Only one toilet block..   Terrible place just because it's not high season we not entitled to anything it's 6pm now can't get food pool closed honestly it's Terrible booked through love holidays paid alot of money would have got 4_5 star hotel for less no English please think before you book with family Alex Dragan, Director General at Alannia Els Prats, responded to this review Lamentamos que la experiencia no haya sido de su agrado.
