  Location ok bit of walk to the town centre Atmosphere ok busy when Que for sunbeds of morning then the life guard releases that net then it's a free for all madness Rooms very basic small comfy beds not enough space if downstairs little area we requested sun lounger chair never got nothing to dry wet clothes or towel on Upstairs deffo no where to dry clothes lots ppl hung along rails of stairs very untidy sight Value no Service around pool bar staff could be rude lack of respect have to pay deposit for plastic cups keep receipts you get deposit back pool ok slide ok all gold for kids day time around pool lots of activities to keep kids adults entertained evening shows ok lack of chairs and very busy areaWould I return NO Not value for money We took own snacks and drinks around pool Went local supermarket for food sat at tables near bar no one bothered us Paid each day for cabana very close together need cleaning end of each day keep ants away

  Things to bare in mind

  We recently stayed here for one week full board at the end of September - I would return but would bare some things in mind next time, so this may be helpful if you are planning a trip here soon.Location - great, no complaints, short bus journey to the Airport & Port Ventura theme park. The strip and beach is in walking distance - we were able to do this with a 5 year old, all flat and no hills.Rooms - the rooms are something you really ought to consider before booking. Each room is a studio-type room, quite small with not a lot of places to store things, the room felt quite messy on times no matter how much we tried to keep it tidy, purely because it is small. The toilet and shower are all in the same room, there is not much privacy which could be a problem depending on who you are travelling with. Everyone in the apartment can hear you when you are on the toilet which isn't ideal.Cleanliness - rooms were clean, towels given frequently, complex itself is clean too.Entertainment - this is the biggest deal breaker for me. I would only return to this hotel in particular if I was guaranteed nice weather. As mentioned, we visited at the end of September and unfortunately had 3 days of bad weather. There is no "Plan B" in case it rains here. The evening entertainment is still either outdoors, or cancelled. The pools and slides were not able to be used whilst the heavy downpour happened. The pool games in the day stopped. It was very difficult to entertain young children during these bad weather days. There is nothing at all, even close to the area to do in the rain. The children enjoyed the kids club but it mainly consisted of arts and crafts. There is a games room however this is very small and does not have enough to entertain the kids for long.Pools - really good. Slides great, 2 different pools, something for all ages.Food - average, like most all inclusive buffets. One day the food would be awful, the next day lovely. There is always a large salad selection. We did not go hungry, even if it meant eating salads/rice/pastas for days on end.In summary, I would return to this hotel but as self catering, and I would not plan to come here later on in the season as you are not guaranteed the weather. There are plenty of eateries around the area which are cheap enough.

  Wouldn’t go again but it’s not the worst

  Definitely wasn’t the best experience for myself, although my daughter absolutely loved it for the pools and entertainment.I will say, however, that in my opinion this hotel is not 4-star. During our stay, we found loads of red ants all over our bed. I showed the hotel staff, and they apologised and moved us to another room that same night. The woman who dealt with us was understanding and made sure I was okay, which I did appreciate. A cleaner also came and sprayed around the sides of the room with pest control, although we were told there wasn’t much they could do about the ants.Unfortunately, moving rooms did not solve the issue. I was affected by bites throughout my entire stay, with over 40 bites across my body. I became so concerned that I would check the bed before getting into it, but despite doing this, I was still waking up with new bites. I also noticed quite a few other people with bites. I obviously can’t say for certain whether the bites were from the red ants or potentially something like bed bugs, but either way, there definitely seemed to be a pest issue that needs addressing. There were also loads of mosquitoes outside, which didn’t help. Luckily, I had tablets with me to help with the itching, but it was still very uncomfortable and really affected my experience.The room itself was okay in some ways. The floor and bathroom were generally fine, but they could definitely do with a bit of a retouch as some areas looked quite yellow and black. I also found the layout quite strange, with the toilet and shower all in the same room, and the showers could definitely be cleaned better. The bed sheets didn’t appear to be particularly clean either. Towels were generally fresh, but you often had to request them, which was a little inconvenient.The noise from the family staying above us was also quite bad. We could hear pretty much everything, and it disturbed us on a few nights, which wasn’t particularly enjoyable.Some of the staff were lovely, and the children’s entertainment was cute and enjoyable. My daughter especially loved the pools and entertainment, so from a child’s point of view, she had a great time. The hotel is also in a good location, being close to two beaches and lots of shops, which was definitely a positive.The food unfortunately wasn’t the best. I found it quite bland, although there were definitely options for children, especially if they wanted things like pizza and chips most nights.In terms of price, it wasn’t terrible, and honestly, if there weren’t any pest issues, I would probably say it was worth the money. There are definitely some positives, and I do appreciate that the hotel apologised and moved us when I raised the issue. However, being affected by bites throughout my entire stay, even after changing rooms and taking precautions, really took away from the experience.Overall, it’s not the worst hotel and my daughter did enjoy herself, but based on my experience, I probably wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you’re expecting a genuine 4-star standard.

  Brilliant hotel and great holiday

  We absolutely loved it here. The kids said one of the best hotels they been too. The slides and the water climbing frame was so much fun for them.They spent hours in the pool.We went self catering lovely food in restaurant and by pool bar and good price.Rooms were small but modern and v clean and had all we needed so didn't effect us.The hotel is right by the stripe and beach which was ideal.All areas v v clean..Thanks allanni salou.

  If you’re not taking kids with you I’d avoid this hotel!!The hotel itself is ok, there’s no reception as such to sit in and cool off.Check in was really slow but the ladies on reception were very informative.Rooms- We had a ground floor room thankfully as the upper rooms had no balcony or anything.Although…..if you like to sleep I’d request and upstairs room, the ground floor rooms heat everything from upstairs!! We could hear people coughing, flushing the toilet and showering, we were woken up every morning as they had small children upstairs.The shower and toilet in the room are not private at all so be mindful of who you are sharing a room with. Be aware of bugs, we had ants in our bed!!! We were both bitten numerous times, who knows by what.Food- we were only breakfast for the week and it was very disappointing, we were first in one morning and the food was warm at best, not very much choice, juice from the machine was always warm. We paid to have an evening meal one night which cost €46 for 2 of us, absolutely not worth even half of that, we were herded in like cattle to squeeze through a huge crowd of people to get very basic lukewarm food, needless to say we didn’t eat in there again.The grill restaurant was ok, not great but it was nice to eat somewhere without feeling rushed.Pools- the pools were nice and clean, but the sunbed situation….wow, there is actually no gaps between the sun beds, they are packed in together so you really get to know who your laid next to! Not ideal at all.Entertainment- was ok, it’s mostly on Spanish so if you don’t speak it you won’t understand, we had an Adam’s Family show one night that the animation team did, it was great but when you can’t understand the story you don’t want to watch so we left, the activities during the day they try to explain in English but it’s difficult.They let people buy wristbands for the day, we were inundated with a group of about 30-40 people who seemed to take over the pool area.A huge group of people singing and clapping, shouting and just being overly loud was very off putting, they didn’t seem to care about anyone else on the vicinity.Would we stay here again, absolutely not, i suppose it’s better if you have children
