    Needs a refurbishment

    3rd time staying here, probably the last.. I. Thought with it changing hands from Medplayer to Alegria it would have had an update but no.. hotel needs to be refurbished , warn, faded , dirty carpets in the corridors .. bathroom old , shabby with marks in the bath needs new tiles and grouting.. As a couple in there late 60’s we had to carry our suitcases up and down 4 flights of stairs as there’s no lift in that area, as you can imagine it was hard work !!! Pool bar wasn’t open even though it was height of summer..

    Horrible, rooms very outdated and in need of refurbishment. The first night our air-conditioning did not work and we literally froze the blankets were inadequate. The following day they were repaired after complaining. The food is often cold being left out without adequate heating. The selection each day very limited. There are very little amenities suana broken, pool closed no jacuzzi gym all machines either broken or need repairs. Bathrooms old baths with hand held showers good point the water pressure was good. The electrics in the rooms verging on safety violations. There is very little in the area of interest without going on day trips to Tarragona. The beach was excellent and the area is clean and smart.

    Shown as a 4 star on the sign and in the search. Room a 3 star AT BEST, and maybe not quite. Great price in Sept but don't expect too much. Rooms small an crowded with beds, probably ok with 4 people but you'd have to leave your luggage in the hall.

    We had a lovley holiday here. All the staff is amazing , welcoming and friendly. Rooms was cleaned every day. One of the nights we was late and we call them to ask if by any chance to leave some food for us at the reception ??, of course they sayd sorry isn’t possible, but when we return to the hotel there was a table full with food . I forget to add that the boys go to fishing very early in the morning and they had their food at the reception ??????. Thank you very much. You are Amazing . We will come back ??.

    We booked a last minute holiday for 11 days hoping for some sun, entertainment, good food and friendly people.We got the sun and the friendly people but no entertainment and little choice of restaurants. Everything was shutting down or shut down which we were not told about at the time of the booking.The bus and train services were sporadic at best so visiting other places of interest was challenging.The bedroom was clean but dated.The breakfast choices were monotonous and repetitive.The indoor swimming pool water was warmer than the outside but the room was dark and uninviting so we only used it once.The reception staff and chamber maids were very friendly and helpful.Perhaps a better experience in high season but we will not be risking it
