Positive experience, worth every penny!

Our trip overall was really good. Plenty of food options with fresh fruit and salad. The location was within walking distance of the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. We took a taxi one day to Tarragona and explored the old city streets. It was breathtaking. I’d highly recommend it. The hotel was very clean and all but one staff member were polite and helpful. The young lady working if the pool bar was very sweet, as were the reception staff. Highlights were the young man with the curly hair in the bar. He was so fun and really made our experience a positive one. The second highlight was the lady cleaning our room (1112). She was just an angel! She was so good at her job and she always smiled and talked with us. In conclusion, I would stay here again ?? This hotel was good value for money. The food hall is Perfectly reasonable, considering how many people have to be catered for. The reception staff are very polite and helpful. I was also very impressed with the cleaners and waiting staff. The hotel is in a good location, very short walk from shops and the beach. We had a great time. My only suggestion would be to have a small bar by the other pool. Not very practical walking through reception to get to the bar. Big shout out to the young man with beautiful long curly hair working at the bar. His energy was amazing . Location and room good but that’s about it! The food is awful and not cooked properly, we have had to eat out it’s that bad. Been ill for 2 days. Pool bar staff are ignorant and rude, it’s like a chore that they have to serve you! Would not recommend or stay here again.

We booked half board for 8 nights. The room was a decent size for a hotel with 2 double beds & a small fridge & good size balcony. Nice modern bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast good (no fried eggs) fresh omelettes, scrambled eggs, tasty meaty pork sausages. Plenty of bread. Evening meal Meat from the grill, plus fish and vegetables plus salads, cheese & cakes. Our only disappointments was the Pizzas were never baked properly & always all food was just warm & not hot enough. A microwave is available. Staff were mainly helpful apart from entertainment bar staff who ignored me (until I shouted) & served all inclusive customers first even though I was at the bar before them, and my drinks were given in paper cups. The hotel is clean but we wouldn't go back, so booked self catering in Salou for next year.
