  A lovely family holiday, with a few disappointing momentsOverall, we had a really lovely stay at Best Negresco Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic beachfront location and is very suitable for families. The food was varied, and the live cooking stations were a particular highlight. The chefs did an excellent job, and the quality and variety of the meals really stood out.Our room was spacious enough for three people, comfortable and perfectly liveable. Although we hadn’t booked a sea-view room, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could still see the sea from the side of our balcony.Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. After 10 pm, the hotel could become very noisy, which made it difficult for our 2.5-year-old daughter to fall asleep. On several nights, she didn’t manage to get to sleep until after 11 pm because of the noise. When I mentioned this to reception, I was disappointed by the response. The staff member seemed rather dismissive, shrugging their shoulders and rolling their eyes instead of showing understanding or offering any help. I don’t think this was a professional way to handle a guest’s concern, especially when it involved a young child.On a more positive note, when we came down with what seemed to be a stomach bug, the hotel kindly offered us a complimentary bottle of Aquarius each, which was a thoughtful gesture.However, the absolute highlight of our stay was one of the older, petite female housekeeping staff members. She was incredibly sweet with our little girl, affectionately calling her “Blondie”, chatting with her and making her laugh whenever they met. She even gave us a little souvenir, which was such a lovely and personal gesture. She genuinely made our stay more special, and we really appreciated her kindness.Despite the few negative experiences, we had a very enjoyable holiday overall. The beautiful location, good food and friendly moments made our stay memorable. With better noise management in the evenings and a more professional approach to guest concerns at reception, this hotel could offer an even better experience for families.   Room was clean comfortable and compactLocation was nice, close to many small beaches, beautiful views, 25min walk via coastal route to Salou town, but other local bars and restaurants within 10 min walk to cap Salou Atomsphere was friendly, lots of Spanish dance classes in hotel, reception and entertainment staff very friendly. Bar staff became more approachable and chatty during our stay, but hold into your drink as one particular waiter loved collecting glasses regardless if they were still full!!!All areas kept clean poolside bars restaurantGood hotel WiFiAll inclusive service was good, good choice was a bit samey but we did have chefs serving mad to order fresh fish dishes, stir fry’s & tortillas daily, fresh made to order omelettes for breakfast!!Drinks wise all ok, the all inclusive surcharge for cocktails of €1 or €2 was worth it. The all inclusive cocktails were a bit blah, but Didn’t notice any noise during our stayHotel restaurant was flooded after very bad rainfall and thunderstorm, but staff worked tirelessly to get restaurant reopened for lunch service!!Only concern we all became ill on our last day with vomiting and diahorrea. Appears to be on going stomach bug Cyrptosporidium within Salou???? Not hotel problem but did notice many residents not washing hands in bathrooms. Carry a hand sanitiser!!   Not realy recommend this place. Location only one good thing when u going eat or stay near pool u see seaview. But when u want to go near the sea its kind a lot to go. Rooms not very clean but it depends who cleans it. In the room i miss trash box it was only in shower. Also near toilet wasnt be a brush. Food i dont know but realy nothing special of our 4 ppl 2 get sick. Clean dishes looks like not washed it see dirt oil or something like that (video). All inclusive drinks coktails also nothing special just put in ice cube and press button from mashine. Most dissapointing thing that in the morning u cant get water bottle to your room u need go to shop or wait 10am till bar will be open. In hotel there is nothing to do for kids who is 10 and above .   Second solo visit with a sea view room. I personally enjoyed my stay. Room is basic, but clean. Has a free safe and a fridge, with a welcome bottle of water and two soft drinks. Food is what you'd expect from an All Inclusive. Never had any issues finding something. Sometimes not very hot, but again, to be expected. Great choice of all inclusive drinks. Pool area great. Its not huge, but never had a problem getting a sunbed (but I did go at the end of September). Entertainment is ok....worked for me.Was able to enjoy a walk out on a morning along to the beach. View is amazing.Ive booked to go again next year, so xant be that bad.
