Location

The hotel is in an ideal location for reaching the tourist centre of Salou. It is only 200 m to the nearest beautiful beach and Capellans is also within easy reach. Countless shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 5-storey building with a lift and 250 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a currency exchange service, a TV room, a playroom, an alarm call service and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access is provided to guests. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of some rooms. Valuables can be securely stored in a safe. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu also offers gluten-free meals and lactose-free food. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Arrived lunch time too early to go into room but check in was quick and easy and we could use all the facilities. Reception staff were polite chatty and helpful throughout our stay. Room with pool view on 2nd floor which we thought was nice but not at night time as we could hear word for word from the entertainment and our room was located over the stage area. Room bit small but we only sleep in them, it was nice and clean housekeeping and fresh towels every day. Good shower, fridge not stocked with anything, no kettle or cups but we took our own. Having to take a slip of paper each meal time to have marked was a bit like being at school and inconvenient. For me apart from breakfast food was awful. If I don’t like the look of something I won’t eat it. Seemed to be fish, pork or chicken and paella. Husband ate everything. What we both had was always not very warm. More like a canteen vibe not restaurant style or service. Staff not that friendly only a couple bothered to even say hello rest just cleared the tables.Pool was clean, pool area completely different, at end of day beds were sometimes stacked but very often empty cups and over flowing ashtrays left. Never had a problem with getting a subbed no matter what time it was. In middle of residential area so over looked all the time.Location of hotel was very convenient get to main strip of Salou which was nice to have a wander after evening meal. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops. We do normally stay in large resorts in middle of nowhere so this was a nice thing to do. Took us a few days to realise the limited snacks were cooked and served at the reception bar area along with ice creams. Drinks apart from spirits are all self service. For some would think it’s a good idea for us we were disappointed. Bar tenders were pleasant enough and chatty.Overall I don’t think it should be a 4 star unless Spain’s standards are different for ratings. It was our first time to Spain and an inland hotel we normally holiday in Turkey at 4/5 star out of town resort complex. This hotel wasn’t for us and there are lots of positive reviews mine is my personal honest review.

    Just retured from my 10th visit.Hotel still clean and tidy. Food in restaurant could be better and hotter . But always found something. Drinks are usual AL local brands unless you pay a small charge.Staff in restaurant and bar are first class.Already booked for September

    Very clean, basic hotel with a friendly staff.. The rooms just fit two small double beds,but that is about it. The location is very convenient to the tourist “strip” of shops and restaurants, and a small, quiet cove on the beach is about a 4 minute walk away. The food in the buffet is good, but the variety is limited and offerings are repetitive. They food is definitely targeted towards a British audience, so some standard Spanish breakfast offerings are missing—jamón ibérico, tortilla de patatas, etc. This is on the lower end of a 4 star hotel, but a clean, conveniently located base for our Salou vacation.

    Couldn't check in till 3 so when you been up for hours not good my coat got stolen out of locked luggage room staff weren't bothered Food cold every day .Bar shuts at 11.30 .     Location was very good, beautiful small bay at the top of the street, enough bars and restaurants close by, atmosphere very good, staff lovely, rooms very clean, just lacking items to make a hot drink, but take our own kettle and cups. Very good value for money, we were half board and the food was excellent with plenty of choice. The whole hotel, and pool area was kept really clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds. Unfortunately on this trip there was work going on at the next building and the peep peep of a lorry wasn’t good, but that’s not the hotels fault. The staff were exceptional can’t say more than that, the entertainment was only just ok, depending what you want.
