  Hosts- The staff are friendly, they don’t speak much English but enough for you to understand, the staff are helpful. Clean- The hotel was clean, the pool side was clean and continuing to be cleaned throughout the day. Facilities- The room facilities was okay, it was our anniversary and they put a bottle of Prosecco in our room and some rose petals, very appreciated! sleep- the bed was huge! My partner didn’t sleep very well however I did, so this is definitely preference on the person?????Breakfast- Has loads of breakfast options, pancakes, eggs, cereal, toast, fry up etc, very happy with breakfast!We would stay again, it’s in a very central location to the beach and bars!   25 years and a big difference for the better

  Brilliant holiday start to finish. All staff friendly and helpful. Room was very nice top floor loungers and chairs on the balcony in the sun. Meals were typical hotel buffet but plenty of variety - dinner a bit busy but staff helped with seating. Hotel clean throughout. Hadn't been to Salou for about 25 years and very happy with the area will be returning very soon.   Been to loads of hotels in Spain mostly Benidorm but first time in Salou. Very nice clean modern and friendly hotel in good location 5 mins to beach, very nice touch in our room was in the fridge had complimentary water and 3 small bottles of various pop! Also free safe but no tea or coffee so bring your own as they charge €5 per day for a kettle. We found the staff very friendly and helpful especially on reception’Tina’ thank you, I firmly think if you’re polite to ‘them’ then they’re polite back very rare I have any problems. Good varied entertainment most nights outside stage in the pool area really nice, warm evening and gentle breeze perfect with a cold drink. Food always a problem for me but breakfast hot and cold plenty of choice although no standard sausages only Frankfurter types, eggs fried, omelettes also scrambled everyday, nice touch had Prosecco too I’d give breakfast 9/10 Evening meals were geared more to the Spanish fair enough loads of fish dishes but pizza chips pasta every night and salad, we got a good deal for our holiday evening meals wasn’t much more than just breakfast but if your paying at least €15 per day eve meal each I wouldn’t bother, score 4/10 I’d eat out instead as there’s plenty of competitive places to eat especially very close by, however if you care about animal welfare be mindful as ‘traditional’ looking eating places many are advertising halal which you wouldn’t expect from a Spanish, Italian or British restaurant. Couple nice bars opposite and to the side of hotel everything shops bars etc easy walking distance bus stops right outside to Barcelona, Taragon etc well easy. Top tip proper bank cash machine to the left of hotel opposite corner to Burger King, got yellow design thing around it as other atms charge more and don’t give you a good rate. Overall excellent holiday I would definitely come back Salou is a nice fairly big resort especially popular with our Irish friends, one of our group is part of the LGBT community but disappointedly there wasn’t one bar for them unlike Benidorm which has loads.   So this is our 6th year going to this hotel and this year we went bed and breakfast, i only ate a couple of times in the restaurant my husband ate more times in it. Now for my GOOD points: central location, its clean and most of all the 4 bar staff, Julio, Bernie, Raymond and of course Ishmel, these 4 men are what makes this place, they are the most nicest genuine, friendly people anyone could meet. Now for my BAD points, some of ur staff are not pleasant at all, Kristabel just about grunts at u and thats if u r lucky, he doesnt say good morning he doesnt smile he doesnt seem to want to b there, thats just my opinion. The entertainment leaves alot to b desired, why do you cater more for spanish and portugese, what about the british tourists?? And last but not least we didnt get our fruit platter and bottle of prosecco delivered to our room this year like we did last year.
