  Great bar snacks st good prices

  We didn't stay at this hotel but visited 3 times for snacks at the outdoor bar area. I have costed this hotel previously and it does appear to be very reasonable. The bar snacks are excellent value and the burgers were far nicer than what we were served in a bar on the front in La Pineda. There was a great choice of ice creans etc if on AI. The hotel is aimed at families, all the children were having a great time on the slide in the pool. There are lots of children. The public areas of the hotel were clean as were the toilets in reception. It's in a good location for public transport and the beach. A walk to bars etc but not that far. Would I stay here, no because I don't want a bustling family hotel but I would have stayed here when my children were young. Seems a good hotel for a very good price particularly early and late season. Can recommend the snacks.

  Beware not a hotel for couples

  If you like a holiday with more children than adults and like the sound of screaming kids and adults all day and night then this is a 5 star hotel for you if you are a couple wanting a relaxing holiday then avoid this hotel The food is passable if it is hot but mainly the food was cold For a 4 star hotel the rooms are very basic the carpets in the hallways smell We were on the 5th floor and the lift in the block of rooms we were in had just about had it waiting up to 15 min for it to come it was like being on a ride at the fun fair Why the hotel has so many 5 star reviews is beyond me Pilar Rios, Marketing at Hotel Best Sol d'Or, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding your recent stay at Best Sol d'Or.   Pros: Good value for money overall. Excellent customer service. Clean hotel in general and the hotel room. Good food at the breakfast and dinner. We didn't have lunch. Near location to the beach.Cons: Too busy in the dining room. Really noisy. People doesn't respect the dress code (men long pants). Kid's disco way too late. Bad soundproofing in the rooms.   Disappointing Stay With Multiple Issues

  We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and unfortunately it fell far below the standard expected of a 4-star property.There was no kettle in the room, which is a basic amenity in any decent hotel. Despite booking for three adults, the bathroom had only two towels, meaning we had to request more straight away.The food was repetitive every single day. I genuinely couldn’t imagine eating there for a full week – there was no variety and nothing changed.One of the most concerning moments was at breakfast when a man slipped on a wet floor. Thankfully other guests rushed to help him, because no staff member apologised, checked on him, or even acknowledged what happened. Completely unacceptable.They offer cava at breakfast, which sounds nice, but there’s no system in place – guests were just taking whole bottles, leaving others with nothing. It felt chaotic.The pool doesn’t open until 10am, and you have to queue to get in, which is not what you expect on holiday. On top of that, towel hire is €10 and must be paid in cash, which feels very outdated and inconvenient.Finally, reception repeatedly gave us incorrect information about the buses, causing unnecessary confusion.Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of organisation, poor service, and basic oversights made the stay disappointing. I wouldn’t return unless these issues are addressed.
