Location

This hotel is located in the northern outskirts, right in the small bay of Cala de la Font. It is about 2 km to an abundance of shops and other entertainment venues.

    End-of-life hotel converted into apartments for a low-cost and horrible vacation.The reception hall is depressing. Everything has been unplugged. The restaurant part is obviously condemned. Some apartments are also walled up.The building ventilation system is dead and the pipes are obviously clogged with horrendous odors emanating from the bathroom as a result. The joints of the bay windows leading to the balcony no longer hold on to the frames and sometimes prevent their complete closure. Cracks are apparent in the foundations, especially on the balcony terrace.All in all, the building is shabby, so are the apartments.Run away, youve been warned.

    too much wrong to say was not aware apartments were called font le mar as is advertised as cala font apartments with litoral rental agency just do not stay here no reception no bar no sunbeds run down shabby filthy should have a health warning.......

    This is an old hotel that has been sold off as individual apartments. We stayed in apt 419. There were 4 of us (2 adults & 2 children) the room was just about big enough and basic (did have very good air con, a fridge, TV, washing machine and 2 ring hob). The fittings were dated and could do with updating. The beds consisted of 2 singles and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was just big enough for our 2 kids. The room was very clean and had a large balcony that gave us a spendid view of the nearby beach (50 metres). The swiming pool area was very clean and hardly used at times it felt like a private pool. There are several nearby restaurants or it is a 10 minute bus ride or 35 minute walk into Salou.This is a good base if you are looking for a cheap beach apartment or as a base to visit neear by Porta Ventura. If you are looking for something more then i would give this place a miss

    Stay away from these disastrous apartments

    The Font De Mar apartments as having a reception -- not true-- a bar -- not true-- an in house buffet restaurant-- not true, There was a run down unmanned reception with wires etc hanging from the walls. Thre was rubbish/dirt scattered all around the ground floor.,and although we were advised that the keys were to be collected from anotherf hotel after 10pm .we were NOT told that this hotel was in Salou and it would cost 20 euros in a taxi.My husband went to the hotel recommende while I sat in the street (im disabled) it wa sthen he was tols he had to go into salou to collect the keys only then to be sent back to the original hotel where he eventually collected the keys. He was asked for 100 euros deposit which he refused . We should have been paid to stay at these apartments. They were filthy.Locals told us that the apartments had been like this since 2007, They are advertised falsely.I have compalined but have not had a succesful reply.

    When I booked this Appartment with lastminute.com I was never informed about the keys. They did not tell me that I have to collect the keys somewhere eles like fifteen minutes walk away up a steep hill. Not good when you are travelling with suitecases and children. They also did not inform me that there is no 24 hour reception. I did not see any cleaners. Room very small and cramped. Two ring oven. Tv did not work well. I will never stay there again, And I certainly do not recommend it, if you are travelling with suitecases and children.
