Great location if you traveled by bus. Tv didn’t work, sink didn’t drain, had to ask twice for power to room. Chair had no leg pads so when you pulled it out, god awful sound. Check in screen so small and old took many tries to fill in info. Good place for single night flop but no more. Tired old hotel.

Decent hotel. But it is a bit dated. Breakfast ok. Rooms ok but small. The whole atmosphere is from the 90’s. It needs renovation. Rooms are clean. Wi-Fi is ok. It is nicely located in the center.

A bit pricey for the amenities

Do you travel ?? a lot?I don't. I used to but not anymore. At least not for business. It's crazy when I think about it: I used to sleep more nights in a hotel than at home, my luggage was always ready and preparing for a trip used to take me 5 minutes tops. ?? And now when I need to prepare for a trip I wander in my house for 1 hour checking that I have everything I need. ?? Amazing how life changes and how we adapt! ??Last week I went to Tarragona for business and I stayed at SB Ciutat Tarragona, in the center of Tarragona's map. Well, Tarragona is not big anyway so when you're there, everything is at a walking distance. Convenient. ??The hotel is not new but it's well maintained. Now the amenities in the room are reduced to the bare minimum: a very old TV, AC that barely works, no slippers, no bathrobe... think of an amenity: it's not there. ??The hotel itself supposedly offers a gym and a pool. They're there but they were closed until June according to the staff... I wish I knew that beforehand and... before I went there to train and swim the first day! ??Both are super small and only 1 person can run at the same time so when you're ready to exercise, cross your fingers for the belt to be free. ??The breakfast buffet was correct in terms of assortment of items (not spectacular, just correct) but not in terms of quality. ?? And hot beverages were only available from machines. So forget about good coffee. ??I feel like €140 per night (for 2) is too much for the overall quality of this hotel, out of the tourist season and in the middle of the week. But I'm no expert in hotels in Tarragona so maybe I'm wrong. There's 1 thing I know: you can't find this type of prices in Barcelona anymore... but in Barcelona tourist season lasts 365 days so.... ??Oh! I almost forgot the best thing about this hotel: ?? coffee, sandwiches and pastries all night at the reception! ??Room quality: 6/10Facilities & Amenities: 7/10Breakfast: 4/10Maintenance: 9/10Ratio price / quality: 6/10Service: 9/10How I felt afterwards: 6/10

Not a good 4star hotel

Dreadful housekeeping service in this hotel. We had a suite on the 3rd floor overlooking big roundabout. Traffic noise not too bad. I took down bunk bed to sleep in and it was not even made up. Covered myself with bath towel to keep me warm and found 2 pillows in cupboard. Next day we went out and when we got back housekeeping had removed our big towels (which is left hanging up) and replaced with clean ones. They also took away the bathrobes which were still clean!!!My bunk bed was as I’d left it - still no sheet or cover for me. No replacement toilet paper even though it was finished! Absolutely worst housekeeping in any hotel we have stayed. Cups and glasses unwashed and no replenished coffee.This room wasnt exactly cheap! We will not be coming back.No restaurants nearbyLightbulb out in bathroomLamp didn’t work.Bed had a 1980s mattress - my husbands bad back played up after trying to sleep on it.2 small bottles water free on first night - no other freebies.

Great location, comfortable hotel

Stayed for two nights in August on room only basis. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped, beds were comfortable. Location of hotel is great, taxi rank and main bus station right outside and nice cafes nearby for breakfast. Very close to the shopping centre too. I am surprised by the negative reviews of this hotel as we thought it was excellent value for money.
