  Just home from a fantastic two weeks in the Estival Centurion The food was excellent and a great variety every night Restaurant and Bar Staff really friendly and accommodating The housekeeping staff was excellent always working hard and everything was so clean Great bus service just outside the door This was our first visit to this hotel but definitely not our last will be back next year

  Thankyou again for such a lovely holiday. And I really appreciated my birthday surprise of a a bottle of cava left in our room. This was our 5th visit to Estival Centurion Playa. And it is still as impressive as every other time we've stayed. We stayed for 2 weeks Half Board in September/October. Food & Staff are amazing at this hotel. Nothing too much trouble and they are all so hard working. Always a good selection of tasty food at breakfast & evening meal to suit everyone. The hotel is well run & kept spotlessly clean by hard working staff.Perfect location on the beach with lovely promanade for leisurely strolls.There are nearby supermarkets & brilliant bus service into Cambrils,Salou,Reus,Tarragona & beyond. Buy a bus card at Plana bus office opposite for cheap fares.All in all we had a fantastic holiday.   Amazing Staff

  This is our 4th year, and again not disappointed. We love this Hotel, the Staff are 1st class, always offering to help, or chat to U. The food is top class and big variety of dishes, Bar, very welcoming, and entertainment caters for all…There I a big jump on Sunbeds/Shade, which was €20, however now jumps to €25, which if your a beach lover, a cost of €340 from your budgets for 14 days…this cannot carry on…even beds at other side of Hotels beach Restaurant the same price..The hotel needs to look at ways of trying to get hotel guests discounts..I’m told in Salou some charge €30…this will discourage visitors, going forward if not capped…We use beach as there is mad rush at 8.30am to put towels on front beds so gone very quickly..With the cost of Living rising…Hotels need be proactive, in ensuring they keep visitors coming guest relations, Guest Services / Front Office at Estival Centurion Playa, responded to this review Dear patb665,Thank you very much for your loyalty, your very positive review and your kindness towards all of us.We are delighted that you have enjoyed your holiday with us for the fourth time and that you have singled out, above all else, the staff who make up the great Centurion family, the delicious buffet food – which is varied and tailored to different tastes and needs – as well as the bar and the evening entertainment.We are sorry to hear that the price of sun loungers has risen so much; sadly, this is beyond our control as it is a company unrelated to the hotel or our organisation, since it is Cambrils Town Council that grants licences to sun lounger hire companies.We understand your frustration at this price rise.We are pleased to report that, since July, we have had staff working exclusively at the pool to prevent sun loungers from being reserved, and this has proved to be a very effective way of ensuring that everyone can use the sun loungers at some point.Once again, we thank you and look forward to welcoming you back next year!Kind regards,Estival Centurion

  Shout out to Annie!

  We had a fantastic stay at the Estival Centurion as a family of five across three generations, and it suited all of us brilliantly.The location is superb, literally separated from the beach by little more than a footpath, with Cambrils and Salou both easily accessible in either direction. There were loads of activities available for our two-year-old, although the beach and pool were more than enough to keep her happy!Food was excellent. Having stayed at quite a few all-inclusive and full-board hotels, we felt the quality here was among the best we’ve experienced for buffet-style dining.The standout, however, was the restaurant staff. Our two-year-old became particularly attached to Annie, who despite speaking no English somehow became her best friend for the week. Every time we sat down to eat, the first words were, “Where’s my friend?” while she searched the restaurant for Annie.A lovely example of the warmth of the staff and exactly the sort of thing you remember long after the holiday is over.Great location, great food, brilliant for families and exceptional staff.   Excellent hotel...but two things...

  Excellent stay and from the outside looked one of the best hotels around. We would probably stay again.However:1. The pool side is dangerous. Uneven and wobbly tiles that were also extremely slippy. Saw three separate falls.2. Especially with a toddler we found the 7:30pm evening dining too late. And judging by the size of the queue forming every night from 7:15pm we weren't the only ones.
