Location

Located in the tourist centre, this hotel lies just 50 m from the nearest fine sand beach. Shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as links to the public transport network are to be found in the near vicinity (50 m - 300 m away). The towns of Cambrils and Salou lie 3 km and 4 km from the hotel respectively and may be reached either by bus or by making use of the hotel shuttle bus service.

    A lovely 3 week holiday

    Firstly, I would like to defend the hotel against some recent negative reviews. One review complained about, and added some photos, queues outside the dining room at meal times. with hundreds of guests requiring a meal on an evening, of course there will be queues at certain times, it's not rocket science! The hotel can't help it if dozens of guests turn up at the restaurant at the same time! Come on, get real! Another review complained about having arrived early and the room not being ready! All hotels, whether at home or abroad, state a time when rooms will be available, as they need time to prepare the room following the departure of the previous guests. Again, not rocket science, and certainly shouldn't be classed as a negative. Also, the pork is NOT inedible, as my wife and I had pork on several occasions, and it was lovely. In fact our entire stay from start to finish was fantastic. The hotel staff work incredibly hard at all times to keep the hotel clean, fresh and running smoothly. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day, with towels being changed whenever we requested them. Yes, inconsiderate guests put towels on sunbeds and then disappear for hours, but this happens in most hotels, it's not the hotel's fault. That said, on the few occasions that we sunbathed (we went out walking on most days) we never had a problem getting a sunbed, even at 10 or 11am. The local bus stops in both directions are right outside the hotel, and the busses are regular and reliable. But if you are able, the walk along the prom to either Salou or Cambrils are well worth the effort. We had a very good mini fridge in our room and a free safe, which are always useful. All in all, we had a great 3 week holiday, and will definitely return.     Great Hotel in quieter area

    We’ve had an amazing time at this hotel. Family of 3 (with 5yo) travelling throughout May Half Term. This hotel was lovely, first impressions of the hotel lobby are great and it only got better from there. Any time we spoke to reception staff they were very helpful. The hotel room was great, two singles pushed together with separate sheets (my husband loved this) and a single bed for our daughter. The only thing the room was missing was an extra foot of space between the bed and table/desk but nothing you can change about that! We had a room at the back overlooking the park, tennis courts and football pitch. It was nice and quiet. The food at breakfast and dinner was good variety. There wasn’t a specific kids buffet however our daughter was only interested in the pasta anyway! I would say this is definitely the hotel for you if you appreciate seafood options at dinner. Every evening the meat and fish options were varied.The pool area was great, people reserving sunbeds did happen but not with the level of madness you sometimes see reported. We had a great time at the pool - the depth varies from 80cm to 1.8m and was great for all ages. There’s a bar in which all the staff are lovely. The biggest shoutout I have to give to the animation team - Ali for kids club, my daughter started asking to go to the morning session with the little friends she’d made. Also Oscar and Judit. Oscar was great at getting people involved without pushing if you didn’t want to. I was impressed every morning watching him do water aerobics but he was on a platform in the shining sun - He must’ve been sweating! There’s not a lot of dining options nearby but we did wander to the Rugby Tavern and Molly Malones both about 15 minute walk away and caught the bus to Salou for a beach day. We would definitely come again to this hotel as it was lovely even with it being a busier week.     Great Family Holiday !

    A lovely hotel, where the staff work really hard.Check in no problems, room very clean, we did get a road facing room (quiet at night) and was hoping for a pool room but we understand that you don't always get what you request. The cleaners were in every day and did a great job they work extremely hard. (Free safe to use in the rooms) Animation team were great, Ocsa is a credit to the hotel, he remembers everyone's names and gets everyone involved we enjoyed all the activities, Darts, Bowling, etc Couple of great acts on at night, esp the Bruno Mars tribute.The outside area is very clean, we saw the pool get cleaned every night and we saw the pool water been tested regularly. One little gripe is the sunbeds and towels, there are signs up not to reserve them, however we would go down as a family of 4 and would only get 1 or 2 sunbeds in separate locations, mid morning and in the afternoon no chance of any (but again lots of towels left and empty beds) We witnessed an elderly couple leave two towels out at 8.30am and not come back to the pool till around 3pm, this needs looking at, I don't blame the hotel, people just need to be more considerate but I do think the hotel could monitor this a little better.Food was lovely - a little on the cold side some mornings, and maybe the area where eggs and pancakes are made could do with extra staff as there was a little wait each day. One thing to add, it would be good if on the food label where it tells you what it is, it also tells you (allergens) if its gluten free etc, my husband struggled a little knowing what to eat and when we asked it wasn't very clear what we were asking for. Someone mentioned drunk guests on another review, we were there at the same time, also on the first floor and never heard or saw anything, alot of the guests were elderly and very friendly, at the end of the week when the school holidays started children did start to arrive but again all very pleasant.The area is very quiet, but there are regular buses to Cambrills and Salou, or like us you can walk there along the beach.
