Facility

Guests have a choice of 199 non-smoking rooms located in a 4-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Lovely hotel. We stayed here for a week half board. Lots to do for kids and personally I didn’t think the rules were too strict around the pool. The pool area was enjoyable for everyone. Separate little pool / splash park too for little ones which is a nice touch. Pool is roped off before 10 but some people, who obviously can’t read, still put towels down. Overall it’s a good system which is fair when people don’t just do as they please. Food was ok pretty much what I would expect from a hotel this size that caters on mass. Staff are lovely really really nice and friendly. Even when people try their patience by taking food out of the restaurant, when again, it clearly asks you not to. Rooms are lovely, and the maids work hard along with the restaurant and bar staff, reception and the kids animation team. Tribute nights are good. Queen and Lady Gaga are a must to see. Only reason it’s not 5 star is the air-con. It’s ok but I think that’s because we stayed in May I wouldn’t want to experience it if it was any hotter as it didn’t blast out but it wasn’t enough to spoil the holiday and again it’s a very large hotel so it’s not going to be 100% perfect. Make sure you visit the beach near the hotel and the lovely little beach bar x there are some lovely beaches in Salou and worth a day away from the pool.

    Really nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, overall I would recommend this hotel. Upsides:Sun beds - restricted reservations until 10am so the 6am saddos can’t get the towels down. There is still a small queue at 10am before the rope opens but manageable. Snack bars - serve decent food lunch options, reasonable prices too. Staff - great, really friendly and helpful. Supermarket - good value and on site so convenient Entertainment - queen and lady gaga decent Room safe - Free safe in room Beaches - small local beaches are nice Inbetween Food - ok. Not great but It is what it is. Shower - hot and cold during peak times. Didn’t complain as not a massive deal.Downsides Aircon - not the best. If you rely on it and come in July/August your going to struggle No air on in any communal areas either. Rooms - basic. Tv is pointless as 0 English channels. Maid service seems sporadic. Sheets changed once in 7 days.Location - bit of a walk into Salou or 10€ each way in a taxi. Other than that. Not a great deal going on around hotel.

    We stayed here for 11 nights. First of all the hotel is lovely. Very clean and the rooms are kept nice. Fresh towels etc when needed. Has a little supermarket at the hotel and a pizzeria.The rules around the pool are to strict and the reason for 4 stars and not 5. Considering most people come here with kids there is no floaties at all except arm bands, no balls, no diving even though there is a part of the pool thats 1.7m deep, which is more than deep enough. We even got wrong for having a t shirt on my kid because of the sunburn on her shoulders. Which we ignored. All of this but not a sign anywhere to tell you these rules. It's pathetic. Cap salou is a nice little place for a quiet night. Salou is a lot busier and just a short bus journey away. There is a lot of people hassling everyone outside of restaurants to get them to go in which is very annoying.Other than that. It was a lovely stay and enjoyed it.

    Poor food safety in les Oliveres restaurant

    Please be careful when visiting the restaurant here. I was served chicken that was completely raw inside, after eating half of this I noticed. I am also 29 weeks pregnant so the food safety risk is extreme. The reception tried to say I would not get ill as all the food is freshly prepared. I have been unwell since.

    Hi all .3 adults shared the accommodation. We was on third floor. Lifts all fine and working.Two large beds in the bedroom and two in the lounge. It was really comfortable. Bathroom great . Large bath overhead shower. All nice and clean . View over the kids play pool .Really nice . If you’re planning to come it’s great .Quiet area . Pool with entertainment is a bit take it or leave it . If your planning to have kids it’s fine .My two big complaints.Tv . Not thst we come on holiday to watch it . Not one channel in English.No English news nothing.So you just Carnt chill with it on.I did mention to the rep .She was great and told me she’s been telling them for years about it. Please get a internet tv to enableNetflix or English Channel. If you have iPads ect you may want to bring them for kids .Secondary if you eating in hotel this won’t affect you .We went self catering.Two hob electric cooker .1 microwave.1 toaster 1 kettle. All sufficient for our use.One frying pan .One large pan . One small pan .cutlery.No cooking utensils. No spatula. No knife. Only a bread knife.No chopping board. I asked at reception for spatula for turning in frying pan .Was told house keeping was not available. I would have to call back thr next day .Make of that what you will .Fridge is built in small under worktop.Door racks was missing. So you milk and pop beer ect have to lie down .It’s just to let you to know to take a chopping board with you and a knife. Makes life easier.We got a great deal on the holiday and would recommend the hotel and the area . It’s was just them two gripes for me . They are so easy to fix .Hotel please do .Hope it helps .P .
