  Just returned from a two weeks at the H10 Vintage Salou hotel, this was our first time in Salou we’re very impressed with the hotel. We were on the fifth floor the room was very clean had an enormous bed, free A/C and safe which was a nice surprise.Cleaners came in every day bedding and towels changed very regular no issues.All staff are very friendly and helpful.We were half board, breakfast had a good variety of food, evening buffet had plenty of choices, could of done with more chicken dishes the only ones was curry or wings not what I eat, but apart from that the food was good.The hotel was very handy for all the amenities only 5 minutes walk away from the beach front also near pubs and restaurants on the promenade.The bus services to the other resorts very cheap.We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

  Stayed in the hotel for the first time this year but have been to salou many times. I know we booked an adults only hotel but we seemed to be the youngest guests by about 20 years, and we are in our 30’s - so the hotel is perfect for couples 45+ looking for a quiet holiday. Room was clean and tidy, housekeeping staff very nice, but the balcony was a bit grubby. Pool freezing, yes it’s October, but literally nobody was using the pool it was so cold. Food was awful, most nights it was mainly fish and salad, very limited choice on meat and what choice there was there was dry, and inedible. If you like a fish salad with cheese and bread you’ll be fine. Breakfast was the same unfortunately, it wasn’t consistent, overcooked eggs and undercooked bacon, watery beans and vegetables, no mushrooms, tomatoes, pancakes, omelettes, things you would expect at a 4*. They also only had sausages one of the 7 mornings we were there. We made the mistake of ordering at the snack bar one day, I ordered the €9 Patatas bravas to be served a bowl of chips and side of ketchup, when I asked the waiter he argued with me and said they were patatas bravas - clearly not .   Second stay at H10 Vintage

  Just returned from our second stay at the H10 Vintage. Our first visit was in July to celebrate my wife's birthday. We chose here as the H10 Princessa was fully booked. The Hotel is an Adults only in a good flat location. The sea front and shopping areas are within walking distance, there are several busy roads to cross however we had no difficulties with this. My wife uses a mobility scooter and easily crossed. Rooms are comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the pool area. Bathrooms are modern with an excellent walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available as is hand wash and body cream. No kettle or beverage facilities are available in the room. We read this in previous reviews and took our own kettle, cups and makings. A small fridge is provided. The beds are very comfortable with maid services every day as you would expect. We were half board and had no difficulties in finding food to suit our palates. I would add that I felt the choices in July were marginally better than September (no sushi this visit) I would add that the food at the H10 Princessa across the road was also marginally better. Ordering drinks at your table is easy with bottled water being extremely cheap. Dining room staff were always polite and readily available to clean away dishes and replace food as required. Bar staff were always polite and friendly. The main pool area was always clean and well maintained. The usual towels on beds scenario was managed well in July by the lifeguard who put timed sheet indicators on unoccupied beds and removed towels when not used. The chill out pool on the roof was an excellent addition with the towel situation continuing to be seen. There is also a bar there which is excellent. A small gym, sauna and spa are also located on the 6th floor.The main lounge is well designed however it lacks lighting in some areas. As the weather was inclement with a lot of rain this area was used more with the entertainment taking place indoors. Check in on both occasions was a lengthy process as we had to wait several hours for our room to get allocated. Sadly this is the result of an early flight. A luggage room behind reception is available for you to place Luggage and walk around while you wait for your room. A buffet lunch including drink is available at €22.00. I think the hotel should make this available to guests who are waiting for rooms as a goodwill gesture.Reception staff were always on hand to resolve any issues. Mobility scooter hire is available through the hotel. This ensures you will have an allocated slot to charge your scooter. Drinking water is provided free of charge within the main lounge area and is a great facility.   This is a standard 3* hotel which claims to be 4*. Room very basic. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No iron in room which is standard for 4*. Floors dirty on arrival. Some else’s socks lying in shelf in wardrobe so definitely not cleaned properly before our arrival. We arrived after 12 lunch time, after early flight, but were told go for lunch as room would not be ready till 3pm, don’t know why it took so long to clean considering it wasn’t done properly. One couple we spoke to had to wait till 4pm. Lounge seating so uncomfortable, had to be quick to get one of the few comfortable seats. Will never be back here.
