Location

This hotel is situated right by the sea. It is in the Coma-ruga residential area, on a fine sandy beach. From the hotel it is only about 5 min to the centre and 15 min to Vendrell town. There are links to the public transport network just outside the hotel. Coma-ruga train station is about 2 km away. Barcelona Airport is some 70 km away, and Reus Airport is approximately 65 km from the hotel.

    The hotel is small and old, which corresponds to its 3 stars. The food is also quite simple without improvements, but you can eat (drinks were included). The pool area is small and uncomfortable, but there is a beautiful patio with a terrace. The rooms are small and old, but the big plus is that each room has a balcony (and ours went out on the patio with a terrace). Soundproofing at zero is 99% audibility. On the first night, teenagers were heard shouting until 1:00 a.m., and on the second night - a party in neighboring rooms until 2 a.m.,. Great location👍👍, although it’s not the first one. However, we always had a good rest)) Thank you!

    Delicious seafood and meat, the hotel is close to the sea, clean rooms, pleasant staff. A new menu every day, a spacious room with a TV and a shower. A good vacation for the affordable price.     Hotel is in a good location, Rooms could do with a deep clean, female waitress very grumpy and seem to pass judgment on everyone who come in to restaurant, The rest of the staff were very nice especially the 2 guys who were on breakfast shifts. Food wasn’t great but you get what you pay for

    I went on a school trip to Barcelona, I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. The room size, staff and bathrooms were alright but the food was horrendous. I'm a muslim and there wasn't much halal options so I had to stick with pasteries for breakfast (which were ok) as well as eggs which were cold and not very well cooked. The food was cold and undercooked/raw, a few of my friends and I got food poisoning because of this chicken dish on the last day. The neighbors were sometimes annoying, there was this awful smell coming from someone's room and outside one of my classmates room which caused them to puke. This hotel should really improve on the facilities and the quality of food because I don't want anyone to experience what I and my school experienced.

    I stayed in Hotel Comarruga Platja for 5 days with my sister. We booked all-inclusive and couldn't be happier. The staff were excellent, from the reception to the bar to the kitchen. They went out of their way to look after us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The common areas are spotless, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard and cleanliness and hygiene seemed to be a high priority throughout the hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always varied and delicious. I was chatting to one of the chefs, Augustine, and he seemed very passionate about providing great food to the guests, as did the restaurant manager. Overall this is a great place to stay, close to the beach, great food, friendly and helpful staff 👍.
