Got back yesterday after 10 nights The check in was quick, we had a,room on the first floor so no need to use the liftOur room was ok needs a bit of tlc,our bed was a huge double and very comfortable, Lovely view from our balcony of the sea .The reception and bar area was beautifully decorated and very relaxed the drinks are a really good price and on a par of bars in Salou .We was half board,The food was ok with breakfast being the best choice with lots of choice, dinner was ok very repetitive but we always found something to eat.We will definitely return because the hotel is so relaxing and all the staff are brilliant. We had a lovely ten nights

    Not all we hoped for.

    rating25 May 2026

We stayed here between 12th to 26th May and I’m currently writing this as we are waiting for our transfer to Reus airport hence the long review!Check in was quick and easy, the room was available earlier than the usual check in time so all good. Our room was number 320 and was light, airy and modern, looks like it was recently refurbished, we had contacted the hotel previously by email and also using the contact form on their website , even though we done this on multiple occasions we never received any response, we had wanted a price for the suites on the 6th floor with the larger balconies and sun beds on them but as it turned out they were in the process of being refurbished anyway, we did find out the price though which was 150 euros per room per night so quite expensive as this was on top of what you already had paid.On the surface the room was great, cleaned daily to a high standard, having a fridge was great, we just removed the shelves and stood up our own bottles of water/juice etc We brought our own kettle and cups as we knew that they were not provided but were available to hire.We found the beds a bit hard and asked at reception if mattress protectors were available and when we came back from dinner they had been fitted, really good service. The bathroom was really modern with a great rain and also smaller wall mounted shower which was great for me at 5’3, nice quality products as well, lovely thick towels changed when required.Adequate storage and hanging space, very narrow built in shelves in wardrobe that were not really designed for putting clothes into neatly. The downside to the rooms are the extremely thin walls, you hear absolutely everything from people talking, snoring, playing music, taking showers, opening and closing drawers and other more personal stuff if you know what I mean.We landed really unlucky with an extremely loud Irish woman in the next room, she really impacted our peace by constantly FaceTiming people and talking so loud you could hear her voice from the outside, she was constantly drunk and coming back from town in the early hours and talking/shouting with absolutely no consideration for anyone, we did speak to reception and were informed that security could intervene if necessary.Regarding the restaurant, we were half board, breakfast was nice and a reasonable selection of cereals, fruit, only plain yogurt, omelettes were available but we didn’t like them much, various cooked items, hash browns were brilliant, nice choice of pastries and also fresh pancakes etcEvening meals were hit or miss, mainly miss, really limited choices and we struggled most nights, the soups were very tasty as were the desserts, the chef was always cheerful and seemed to enjoy his job which is more than can be said for the majority of the restaurant staff who seemed to be grumpy, not all of them but a good few looked like they were really unhappy. The layout of the restaurant is very poor with only one queue and people were constantly pushing in not wanting to wait. The tables are so close together that there was always someone bumping into your chair trying to get past rather than go the slightly longer way around. There are only 2 lifts up to the rooms and they could be busy at certain times, they are pretty small and even though it says that there is capacity for 6 people you could really only get 4 people comfortably in to them. The first few nights in the restaurant we were ignored for drinks orders so ended up taking our own water after that , the staff were quite petty and would remove the glasses from the table when we declined drinks which is maybe just procedure. The rooftop pool was lovely but got really busy and we were lucky enough to have used it a few times during our stay, we ended up using the quiet pool at the back of the hotel and it was really good, we enjoyed using the pool, initially it seemed cold but we soon got used to it, lovely way to cool off on a sunny day.You are able to change your evening meal to a lunch time one by speaking to reception, we decided to not have our evening meal the last night of our stay and have lunch on our last day instead as our pickup time was around 5pm to Reus for our TUI flight back to Glasgow. We had a lovely relaxing time only spoiled by a few issues and with this in mind we personally wouldn’t return unless the walls were soundproofed and the evening menu was extended to accommodate a better choice for guests who wanted more than seafood as their main meal.

    Could not wait to leave

    rating20 May 2026

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed, noise, walls are thin be prepared for no sleep, you can hear everything snoring all night. toilet flushing talking, bed squeaking also bad smell, food not great fish & meat all undercooked I had a bad stomach ended up eating out.Hotel is on a hill so not good if disabled or struggle with walking, there is a door at bottom of the hill but doesn’t work most of the time.Reception staff rude be prepared to stand & wait while they serve you then go do something else or serve other people & just leave you waiting unless your Spanish, found them not friendly or helpful at all, staff in the restaurant worked very hard. Lifts are too small for size of hotel & stairs can be quite slippery due to marble tiles, although they do look beautiful. View from our room was a building, swimming pool areas are nice & hotel entrance was lovely but could not wait to leave

    Nice hotel, good location

    rating11 May 2026

Stayed for one week, May, rooms are clean and modern, bathroom could do with updating.Housekeeping and other staff very good and friendly. The reception area in the hotel is really nice ,very comfortable and well furnished. Bar prices very reasonable. The location of the hotel is spot on, close to the beach front and lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We were breakfast and evening meal. The breakfast was quite limited, not enough tea and coffee machines for the amount of people very limited hot food, cereals were very poor standard and no porridge. The fruit was nice.Evening meal was very busy with long queue, to avoid this go after 8 o’clock. The food was okay but not enough fish or variety we eat out of three occasions. On reflection we would stay again as the hotel itself is lovely with 4 pools great location,Just needs some adjustments to the dining.
