    Stayed 2 nights here as an add on to a trip to Barcelona. Booked as one of the cheapest options in Tarragona and it was a great place to stay. It was about 15 minutes walk from the bus station. Hector on reception gave a very detailed intro to Tarragona using a map on arrival which was very useful. The private bathroom was external but very close and easily accessed with room card key (you get two). Room and bathroom clean. The dining room area is really useful if you want to make your own food, such as sandwiches or breakfast. There is no kitchen access but a fridge, microwave and kettle. Complimentary teas and a coffee machine for 1€. Used dishes go in a bowl for washing up by staff. Nearby market was nice for breakfast one day and it's easy to access everywhere from the hotel. There is a 15€ combined ticket to see the sights. Unfortunately I had very wet weather during my stay so didn't manage to see them all but I am glad I visited. 7€ taxi to the train station for regional trains (it was pouring on my last day!). Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Had a great stay, and was very impressed by all team, who were very welcoming, knowledgeable and hospitable. I had a comfortable, clean room. The hotel was well located for everything. I look forward to returning.

    We chose Pigal on the basis of the very positive reviews - and, happily, found the reviews to be spot on. Xavier is a warm and hospitable host, who took time to advise (wittily) on the best places to see during our 24 hours in Tarragona and how best to get to them. The hotel is ideally located, in a central but quiet street. Our room was quite small, but the bed was large and comfortable.

    Quiet, Safe, and Set-Up Very Well

    Stayed here for six days in late May/Early June. It is quiet, safe, and very well set-up. The people who run this place are very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with the owner and his staff, they really take the time to see you as a human being. Practically any potential problem a traveler might have, they have solved it, even down to the small things such as giving you a really good map upon arrival. The room is comfortable and not too hot (even when Tarragona was already hitting mid-80s outside). I also appreciated the ability to store one's own food in the shared fridge. Highly recommended, would definitively stay here again.

    Well where do I start ...Xavier ....what an absolute incredible host. This place is super clean, staff are all incredibly friendly including rhe main man Xavier.. he is so funny and will tell yo6 absolutely everything you need to know about Tarragona with a map 😉 The rooms are beautiful 😍 and I can't tell you how spotlessly clean rhe Pigal is I was only supposed to stay one eve but extended my stay as loved this place and all about it so much....1 million % recommended and I for sure will come again. Well done Xavier you have worked this out perfectly and it was such a pleasure to meet you and your amazing team ❤️ 💙 👏 😀
