Location

This establishment is strategically located only 6 km from the motorway, 100 km from Barcelona, 50 km from Tarragona, 50 km from Lleida, 35 km from Reus and 180 km from Zaragoza. Located in the small settlement of Les Masies de Poblet, it belongs to the municipality of L'Espluga de Francolí and is situated in the Poblet Wildlands (a future national park) at the foot of the Prades Mountains. It is only 500 m from the Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet, the heart of the Route of the Cistercian Order.

Facility

The holiday apartments were built in 1888. Guests have a choice of 2 suites and 31 apartments located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the apartment hotel include a cloakroom, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested.     The hotel is very nice, we had a quite nice room with views to the Monastery of Poblet, dinner was very good, service was very friendly and very efficient.     Great basic apartments

    Great basic apartments for a family of 8 and a double room at the Villa. Staff very friendly, specially with children. Perfect location just few minutes drive from Poblet monestir. If you stay for a few days there is a swimming pool, kids play area.Recommended for families. For couples better to get a room in the main building.     Mediterranean style

    We stayed here for two nights during Easter. We enjoyed the location, which is close to the World Heritage Poblet Monastery. We also enjoyed the concept behind this hotel: small mediterranean houses with private terrace. Quiet and peaceful place. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We stayed in an apartment, so we coud cook our own food. Beautiful sunsets from our room.The negative point would be that the receptionist wasn't in the reception many times and we didn't have other option than searching her through the private rooms of the main building.     We stayed here,unfortunately, for one night only. A great room with everything you need: kitchenette, bathroom, big bed ( for our taste a little uncomfortable, but never mind ) and the most we liked - the warming system built-in the walls. The lady at reception spoke perfect English ( quite a rare thing in Spain...) and gave us valuable advice. Enough parking space, highly recommended!     I stayed here for 2 weeks with Diverbo over summer. The location was absolutely beautiful and the hotel aesthetics were fantastic.I stayed in one of the 2 person apartments. It had heavy curtains and was very dark. The lighting was dim inside even with the curtains/windows open. There was a double bed that was split into two singles. There was one very very thin pillow for each person, which made sleeping uncomfortable to the point where I had to fold the pillow in half every night.The pool was fantastic however a fair walk from the apartments. The tennis court was dirty and well worn, however it was enjoyable none the less. The playground was also entertaining however again very old and well worn.Breakfast was one of the only good things about the food at this hotel. There was a wide variety of choice and the buffet style was ideal. Dinner/lunch however were not as good. Some nights we had fantastic meals (swordfish, BBQ ribs, burgers etc) however sometimes we were given a large bowl of pea's with cheap bacon lardons mixed in. I know they were catering for a lot of people but a lot of the food was unpleasant and bland.
